It's unlikely to catch on, but Jennifer Love Hewitt has decided wedge heels and a bikini is the latest tennis fashion.While it's doubtful Serena Williams or Jelena Jankovic would ever be seen wearing them, Jennifer appears to be under the impression the skimpy outfit improves her performance on the court.

The Ghost Whisperer actress certainly turned heads in Hawaii recently when she snubbed the usual uniform of a white skirt and T-shirt for a black bikini and slingback wedges.While holidaying on the Pacific island with comedian boyfriend Jamie Kennedy, the couple have been keeping fit by participating in various sports.

But the 30-year-old brunette must have decided typical tennis clothes were too hot for the balmy temperatures and decided to keep her cool in a skimpy two-piece.Even more daring was her decision to wear four-inch heels, which would seriously hamper her ability to sprint for the ball.Standing at just 5'2", perhaps Jennifer wanted to appear taller next to her 6 ft tall boyfriend.

Not only giving extra height, women are fond of high heels because they give the impression of longer legs.Her tennis outfit isn't the first impractical ensemble she's worn to play sports.Last week, the I Know What You Did Last Summer star was also spotted playing basketball in a bikini.While bouncing the ball around the court, Jennifer's bikini fortunately stayed firmly on despite the vigorous activity.Jennifer and Jamie, 39, started dating in March, two months after the actress called off her engagement to Scottish actor Ross McCall.

Ghost Whisperer Spoiler - "jim" Dies As David Conrad Leaves

In September, word spread that fans will be seeing the last of David Conrad is leaving Ghost Whisperer as his character, Jim will be killed off. TV Guide was quick to talk to series star Jennifer Love Hewitt, who said told them, "The important thing to always remember is that things are not as they seem on our show. We never do anything cut-and-dry. There are lots of opportunities for people to think that one thing is going to happen, and it actually turns out to be something else."

With the new season of Ghost Whisperer currently well underway, she only has one piece of advice for viewers: “keep their eyes open and enjoy the ride into our big storyline for the season rather than try to guess what's going to happen and how."

More recently, the producers of the show, Kim Moses and Ian Sander, cleared up the issue about David Conrad leaving the show. They wrote on their TV Guide blog, “David Conrad is not, not, not leaving Ghost Whisperer. Jennifer Love Hewitt Bikini Pictures

An angry Jennifer Love Hewitt is defending her curves after photos of her in a bikini were ridiculed on the Internet. "I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized," the 28-year-old actress writes on her Web site.

"To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all the girls out there that are struggling with their body image."

The photos show Hewitt, with a bit of cellulite, on a Hawaii beach with her new fiance, Scottish actor Ross McCall.
Several sites posted the shots, along with some less-than-complimentary comments. TMZ.com, for example, said, "We know what you ate this summer, Love — everything!"

"A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be," Hewitt responded in a post Thursday. "And being a size 0 doesn't make you beautiful."

"What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles," says the star of TV's "Ghost Whisperer" and the film "I Know What You Did Last Summer."

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is engaged to be married to her boyfriend, Scottish actor Ross McCall, 32, Usmagazine.com reported on Wednesday.

”They got engaged last week,” Hewitt’s representative told Us exclusively. The couple is vacationing in Hawaii.McCall gave Hewitt an antique engagement ring that has been in his family for over 100 years, it said.

Hewitt, 29, star of the CBS drama “Ghost Whisperer,” received critical acclaim in the title role of the ABC Original Movie, “The Audrey Hepburn Story,” based on the life of the Academy Award-winning actress.
