Penny Lancaster Flaunts Her Hot Bikini Body

Looking trim and lean in her skimpy animal-print bikini, Penny Lancaster has put paid to recent rumours that she is pregnant with her second child.The model, 38, showed off her slim and tanned physique as she sauntered by the pool on her holiday in Tenerife with husband Rod Stewart and their three-year-old son Alistair last week.

Penny had caused speculation that she was pregnant with her second child after stepping out in a loose printed floral dress at the annual Chelsea Flower show in London recently.It's now clear that it was just the unflattering fit of the mumsy looking frock that gave Penny the infamous 'bump'.

But the lingerie model, who married Rod, 64, two years ago and had son Alastair, has made no secret of her plans for a second child. However, Penny has suffered two miscarriages and has spent the past year trying to conceive.She admits that it has been difficult with Rod's busy schedule, and that her biological clock is ticking.'Rod wrote in my Valentine's card, 'Let's make baby No2'', she said recently. 'And now it's definitely the right time. We will be trying for another as soon as we can fit it in - we're ready now. A little girl would be wonderful as it would be a little playmate for Alastair. We'll be happy to stop at that.'

She added: 'I think Rod's touring and running around interferes with things but we still have high hopes." Penny has also had precancerous cells on her cervix, which had to be removed with a laser. Stomach pains then revealed she had a cyst on an ovary.'But her spokesman said: 'I'm sure it will happen eventually. They did manage to conceive Alastair perfectly naturally. It's simply a question of age. It does become more difficult the older people are."Penny and Rod have been together for nearly nine years, and Rod is father to six other children from previous relationships, two of which are with his former wife Rachel Hunter.

Cyndi Lauper Sings "Time After Time" on "American Idol

llison Iraheta and Cyndi Lauper sing "Time After Time" together on "American Idol," it's really good. They have good chemistry, are listening to each other and playing off each other. Finish with some pretty tricky free-form runs, going in and out of each others' vocals. This is totally something they've practiced, didn't just come in off the street and pull that off.Man, am so looking forward to seeing what Allison does in her music career; she's such a natural.

Host Ryan Seacrest said on Wednesday's finale that nearly 100 million votes were cast for the finalists. The 23-year-old Allen, a student from Conway, Ark., bested the 27-year-old Lambert, a theater actor from San Diego.The two-hour finale included performances by the Black Eyed Peas, Cyndi Lauper, Carlos Santana and Rod Stewart. Lambert performed with Kiss and Allen dueted with Keith Urban.

Rod Stewart Performs on 'American Idol'

"American Idol" trots out the eight male finalists, singing Rod Stewart's "Do You Think I'm Sexy," all dressed up in dark suits. I wonder if they'll strip down to their underwear, like Kara did -- or would that be undignified?Rod Stewart then shows up, of course. I don't remember anyone singing any of his songs this year, which is too bad . . . he's got some gems.

Unfortunately he's lost quite a lot vocally . . . man, it's painful listening to him sing "Maggie May." And then he dances . . . it's really bad, like suddenly we're at a senior citizen's home. He means well, but really, this image shouldn't be in our minds.Oddly, they put him out there alone, no "Idols" to join in and disguise the thinness of his voice, distract us from his wobbling back and forth on stage.

Meanwhile Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster are desperate to have a second child - but fear they have left it too late to conceive.The 'Maggie May' hitmaker, 64, and model Lancaster already have one son together, three-year-old Alastair.But their plans for another baby have suffered a setback - Lancaster, 38, has been trying to fall pregnant for more than a year without success.
