Mary Kate Olsen Is Pregnant with First Child

Mary Kate Olsen is allegedly pregnant. Sources tell the National Enquirer that the actress and her boyfriend of nearly a year, artist Nate Lowman, are expecting their first child together.“Mary-Kate has been looking a lot rounder recently. It is good she has put on weight, because she previously suffered from anorexia, but a lot of people think she could actually be attempting to hide her pregnancy,” an insider says.

The source adds that the 22-year-old, who became famous with twin sister Ashley Olsen while playing on ‘Full House,’ is “really happy” with the pregnancy.“She is really happy with Nate and is very excited they will soon be starting their family,” the insider added.

Mary Kate Olsen Graces Elle

Mary Kate Olsen is the cover girl for Elle magazine’s next issue. For the interview, Mary Kate met with Elle mag at a Trapeze school. She gives quite an honest interview, but ultimately reveals a whole lot of nothing. These Olsen twins like keeping things mysterious, but MK was willing to dish on her sibling rivalry. She says,

“We don’t agree all the time. The way we go about business or designing or making a decision is that we come at it from two completely different angles that at the end of the day, even when we don’t think we’re agreeing with each other, we are agreeing. We’re just getting there in different ways. Unless you’re a twin, you honestly can’t know how close twins can be.”

As far as more personal details, such as if the reports that she and Ashley are worth millions, Mary Kate says it’s nobody’s business.The interviewer did try to get some more delicate details, this time in regards to actor Heath Ledger’s death. However, Mary Kate quickly responded “in the nicest possible way,” and asked to move on.Mary Kate will not be reprising her role as Tara on the next season of Weeds, but you can catch her and Ben Kingsley in The Wackness next fall

Olsen Twins Like Starbucks

Everyone knows the Olsen twins are thin - super thin, in fact. But have you ever considered taking their weight gain into your own hands? Apparently a barista at Starbucks used to do just that. Ashley and Mary Kate are constantly photographed with Starbucks coffee drinks in their hands (usually of the Venti-sized variety), and there’s no doubt that they put as little fat in there as possible, even if the drink is serving the purpose of food replacement. But one man decided to take matters into his own hands.

A man who used to work at Starbucks has admitted that whenever he served the Olsen twins, he would replace the skim milk in their order with whole milk to try to fatten up the girls. Though the twins’ publicist calls the plot “ridiculous”, I can imagine that it would really happen. Those girls are TINY!

In other Olsen news, Vanessa Hudgens recently declared Mary Kate Olsen to be her fashion icon, along with Victoria Beckham and Nicole Richie. (Is anyone else noticing a pattern here? Someone better be watching Vanessa for dramatic weight loss). Vanessa chose those stars because they “have fun with fashion.”

Olsen Twins In Playboy!!

It seems Hugh Hefner is really focused on getting celebrities to do his centerfolds these days. He recently asked Lindsay Lohan to pose, and before that there were rumors of a Kelly Rowland spread. Now there are reports that Hefner wants the Olsen twins to pose for Playboy.Hefner tried to get the Olsen twins to take it all off once before, on their 18th birthday, but they turned him down. Now he’s trying again, just in time for their 22nd birthday.

Unfortunately for Playboy, it looks like the twins are more interested in fashion and posing for Vogue than stripping down for a men’s magazine. There are also reports that the twins aren’t getting along these days. It seems there is some jealousy on Ashley’s end since Mary-Kate is getting all the acting roles. First there was the television show “Weeds”, and now Mary-Kate is set to star with Ben Kingsley in the movie “The Wackness”.In other Olsen twin news, the two are said to be working on a coffee table book called “Influence”. The book will be all about fashion and include tons of photos of the twins by various photographers. It appears the rumors of a rift are just that - rumors.
