Elizabeth Edwards Dumps John Edwards On Account of John Edwards Affair

Ever since John Edwards confessed in August that he had cheated on his cancer-stricken wife with an employee on his presidential campaign, observers have been wondering whether another shoe eventually would drop.Several reports, including one in the Washington Post, said Edwards' wife, Elizabeth, was seen at a speech without her wedding ring. One woman who attended Elizabeth Edwards' speech told the Post she looked "fragile."

Meanwhile, the New York Post reported that John Edwards "is no longer living with Elizabeth and that the couple have separated." That report was not verified and neither of the Edwardses has commented.John Edwards has admitted that he was involved in an extramarital relationship with 44-year-old Rielle Hunter in 2006, when his wife's cancer was in remission. It has since returned. He denied reports in the National Enquirer that he is the father of Hunter's baby. In August, John Edwards told ABC News that Elizabeth Edwards was "furious" when she learned of the affair but that he felt the marriage would survive.

See her biography and photos here.The National Enquirer is reporting that John Edwards had an affair with a woman from his campaign, and that now there is a secret love child. And in the latest update, National Enquirer says they caught John Edwards red-handed visiting her in the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles, California. Read the story.

Rielle had driven to Los Angeles from Santa Barbara with a male friend for the rendezvous with Edwards. The former senator attended a press event Monday afternoon with L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa on the topic of how to combat homelessness.The Inquirer says that when Edwards was confronted with reporters as he left Hunter’s room, he dashed around the hotel trying to hide, eventually walling himself into a bathroom.

Rielle Hunter is a producer and aspiring actress. She has been described as “formerly hard-partying girl who claims that she found enlightenment.” She is credited with writing and starring in “Billy Bob and Them”.Rielle met Edwards at a New York Bar. Of the meeting she says,“I didn’t think it was John Edwards because the public persona did not mesh at all with the person who was sitting in front of me.”

Hunter has a video production company, which was hired by John Edwards on a $100,000, six-month contract to terminate December 31, 2006. The allegations stem from this relationship. Hunter denies all allegations and says their relationship was strictly professional.Interestingly, the Enquirer also says that Hunter is now living in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in a gated community a few blocks away from Andrew Young, a key official in Edwards’ campaign. Supposedly Young has been in charge of looking after Hunter while she stays in hiding. And apparently HE is claiming responsibility for the baby, despite being married with children himself.

John Edwards Sex Scandal

The most remarkable thing that has happened since the National Enquirer broke the story of John Edwards visiting his girlfriend and her baby in a hotel in the middle of the night, at a Los Angeles hotel is - nothing has happened! All the newspapers have ignored it, the TV networks, too, with the exception of...Fox News today published an interview with the security guard of the Beverly Hilton hotel. From the interview it seems clear that there was a big commotion and the security guard didn't have a scooby what was going on.

Edwards responded to questions about the story by saying, "I have no idea what you're asking about. I've responded, consistently, to these tabloid allegations by saying I don't respond to these lies and you know that ... and I stand by that."The guard revealed to FOX News that he witnessed a rendezvous between Edwards,his mistress and their love child.The guard said:“His face just went totally white.” The guard explained that he escorted Edwards,who was not a registered guest at the hotel, out of the building after 2 a.m.Edwards has refused to comment on the matter.
