Shocking photos have emerged showing how drugs ravaged Michael Jackson's legs as it was revealed that detectives are treating his death as homicide.Bruises, needle marks and a gruesome black wound can be seen in the previously unseen images which were broadcast to millions by U.S. TV network ABC.

They had been released by the singer's father Joe to show his son had vitiligo, the skin-whitening disease, which Jackson had always claimed he'd had.However their release has raised more questions about the star's drug use.The black wound appears to have been caused where an intravenous line, fed into his leg, was removed and fluids dripped into his lower leg.

Normally, IV tubes go into the arms. There are also puncture marks (circled in a picture below) peppering the skin on his legs which appear to have been caused by needlemarks.Dr Debra Jaliman, a spokeswoman for the American Academy of Dermatology, told the ABC network: 'It looks like there are multiple punctures from intravenous placement.

If the IV fluid went into his skin it may have destroyed it.'The specialist said of the 2002 pictures it was 'unusual' to inject drugs into the legs, but that the measure would be taken if no veins in the upper body were accessible.The blackness of the wound is believed to be the result of necrosis, the death of most or all the cells in tissue due to disease.The website TMZ, which broke the news of Jackson's death, reports that the initial investigation has pinpointed the anaesthetic Propofol as the primary cause of his death. Vials of Propofol were found in Jackson's home after he died.

* NBC’s “Today” will air a “split edition,” with host Meredith Vieira in Los Angeles. Live coverage of the service, will begin at 10 a.m. “Nightly News” will also air live from Staples Center. At 10 p.m., Lester Holt will anchor a special edition of “Dateline.”

Michael is going out big as the memorial service will also be seen in 88 movie theaters across 31 states.

The alleged sighting is the latest in a string of bizarre rumours to emerge after his death nearly two weeks ago.These include reports the late singer will tour the world via hologram and that he will be buried without his brain.Neither Miko Brando - the son of screen legend Marlon - nor his cameraman noticed the spectre during their trip to the California ranch.

But after it was posted on YouTube, rumours have spread like wildfire across the internet.Viewer comments and chat forums have debated in earnest the possibility that the shadow belongs to Jackson himself.Jackson was a huge fan of JM Barrie's Peter Pan, the little boy who never grew up (as the name of his ranch suggests) and lost his shadow before Wendy sewed it back on.

Michael Jackson Memorial Ticket Winners

Some Michael Jackson memorial ticket winners have taken to Twitter to announce their good fortune of scoring tickets through the lottery system to the Jackson funeral event scheduled to be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It may seem like a slow process and it appears it will require several steps for those that win tickets.

And just who are the lucky winners and what will they do, attend the event or try and sell? It might be difficult and event organizers are taking extraordinary steps to try and prevent sales but tickets to what is billed as the largest memorial service in history are eking into the hands of Michael Jackson fans. After a startling 1.6 million people registered for tickets, some fans started to tweet on Sunday evening that they had received them.

The tickets are being distributed in lottery fashion, with winners receiving a code and instructions on how to pick up their tickets on Monday. They will be issued with a wristband to be worn to the service on Tuesday morning. To prevent ticket scalping, fans must have both the ticket and the wristband.

The service, which is tipped to include top-bill acts like Paul McCartney, will take place at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. There will reportedly be no on-screen broadcast outside the center because organisers want fans to stay home and watch the service rather than clog up roadways around the center. Several networks will air the ceremonies. The Jackson family, meanwhile, was said to be planning a private funeral and burial at the Forest Lawn cemetery in Hollywood Hills, where many celebrities have been laid to rest.

For decades, he went to extraordinary lengths to shroud his family life in secrecy.Now with his passing, photographs of the troubled star are emerging online that give a remarkable insight into his world.These personal photos show a far more normal father and man than any of his bizarre showbusiness appearances of recent years.

Janet Jackson Pays Ttribute to Michael Jackson At BET Awards 2009 (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Janet Jackson and her father Joe Jackson attended the BET Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles, in order to be on hand for a tribute to Michael Jackson.Joe, who sat in a ringside seat next to the Rev. Al Sharpton, was dressed in a black hat, dark glasses and a dark suit. He said, “I wish the world had recognized him when he was living. Right now, he’s bigger than ever. But I wish he was here to see all this, to hear all this.”

Jamie Foxx opened the show in a red leather “Billie Jean” jacket and demonstrated Jackson’s signature Moonwalk. Foxx admitted he hadn’t done it since 1983 and said, “I hope I can make it.” He told the crowd, “No need to be sad. We want to celebrate this black man.”

Janet Jackson took the stage and spoke briefly before the video tribute began. She said, “My entire family wanted to be here tonight but it was too painful. To you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family. He will forever live in all of our hearts. On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all of your love, thank you for all of your support. We miss him so much. Thank you so much.”

Michael Jackson Autopsy Report Leaked

The leaked results of Michael Jackson's autopsy are truly shocking. Jackson was emaciated, bald, covered in scars and dotted with needle tracks.

As The Sun reports from London on the results of Michael Jackson's autopsy:

"THE horrifying state of pop superstar Michael Jackson in his final days can be revealed by The Sun today. Harrowing leaked autopsy details show the singer was a virtual skeleton — barely eating and with only pills in his stomach at the time he died. His hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds — believed to be the result of injections of narcotic painkillers, given three times a day for years. And a mass of surgery scars were thought to be the legacy of at least 13 cosmetic operations.

More than just this, the autopsy report that has been leaked showed that the bridge to his nose had vanished and the right side of it collapsed. What is truly odd though is that despite being in this state Jackson had been recovering well from skin cancer, the operation to deal with that seems to have worked.

Other British newspapers have carried more of the story about the results of the autopsy on Jackson:

"Michael Jackson was emaciated, virtually bald, covered in needle scars and had only pills in his stomach when he died, according to an autopsy report.

There has to be thought that some of those around him, some of his entourage, were if not encouraging him in this behavior, at least enabling him. Michael Jackson was 5 foot 10 inches tall but at the time of his death weighed only 112 pounds: that just isn't healthy at all. The only things in his stomach were partially dissolved plls and he had lost nearly all his hair, having nothing but a "peach fuzz" left. What we saw in public was a wig.

And as that autposy report shows, Michael Jackson had been receiving pain killing injections for some time:

"His hips, thighs and shoulders were pock-marked with needle wounds, believed to be the legacy of narcotic painkillers being injected three times a day.

If these injections were indeed Demerol then this bolsters the possibility that he died of an overdose: for those who have built up tolerance to the drug the gap between a pain relieving dose and a fatal dose is very small. And if that is true then the possibility that Michael Jackson could have been saved rises once again.

The conclusion of these leaks from Jackson's autopsy seems to be that:

"Sources close to the Jackson camp said fans would be shocked by the autopsy findings. 'He was skin and bone, his hair had fallen out and had been eating nothing but pills when he died,' one source told the newspaper. 'Injection marks all over his body and the disfigurement caused by years of plastic surgery show he’d been in terminal decline for years.' 'His doctors and the hangers-on stood by as he self-destructed. Somebody is going to have to pay.'

Sadly this seems unlikely. Jackson's records are heading to the top of the charts again all over the world. The entourage will be able to absorb the cash inflow from that but without Michael Jackson to spend the money faster than it comes in. Far from their paying, it looks like they'll profit.

I promptly tried to deter him from the idea, at which point he just shrugged his shoulders and nodded almost matter of fact as if to let me know, he knew what he knew and that was kind of that. 14 years later I am sitting here watching on the news an ambulance leaves the driveway of his home, the big gates, the crowds outside the gates, the coverage, the crowds outside the hospital, the Cause of death and what may have led up to it and the memory of this conversation hit me, as did the unstoppable tears. A predicted ending by him, by loved ones and by me, but what I didn’t predict was how much it was going to hurt when it finally happened. The person I failed to help is being transferred right now to the LA County Coroners office for his Autopsy. All of my indifference and detachment that I worked so hard to achieve over the years has just gone into the bowels of hell and right now I am gutted. I am going to say now what I have never said before because I want the truth out there for once.

Our relationship was not “a shame” as is being reported in the press. It was an unusual relationship yes, where two unusual people who did not live or know a “Normal life” found a connection, perhaps with some suspect timing on his part. Nonetheless, I do believe he loved me as much as he could love anyone and I loved him very much. I wanted to “save him” I wanted to save him from the inevitable which is what has just happened. His family and his loved ones also wanted to save him from this as well but didn’t know how and this was 14 years ago. We all worried that this would be the outcome then. At that time, In trying to save him, I almost lost myself. He was an incredibly dynamic force and power that was not to be underestimated.

When he used it for something good, It was the best and when he used it for something bad, It was really, REALLY bad. Mediocrity was not a concept that would even for a second enter Michael Jackson’s being or actions.I became very ill and emotionally/ spiritually exhausted in my quest to save him from certain self-destructive behavior and from the awful vampires and leeches he would always manage to magnetize around him. I was in over my head while trying. I had my children to care for, I had to make a decision. The hardest decision I have ever had to make, which was to walk away and let his fate have him, even though I desperately loved him and tried to stop or reverse it somehow.

After the Divorce, I spent a few years obsessing about him and what I could have done different, in regret. Then I spent some angry years at the whole situation. At some point, I truly became Indifferent, until now. As I sit here overwhelmed with sadness, reflection and confusion at what was my biggest failure to date, watching on the news almost play by play The exact Scenario I saw happen on August 16th, 1977 happening again right now with Michael (A sight I never wanted to see again) just as he predicted, I am truly, truly gutted.

Any ill experience or words I have felt towards him in the past has just died inside of me along with him. He was an amazing person and I am lucky to have gotten as close to him as I did and to have had the many experiences and years that we had together. I desperately hope that he can be relieved from his pain, pressure and turmoil now. He deserves to be free from all of that and I hope he is in a better place or will be. I also hope that anyone else who feels they have failed to help him can be set free because he hopefully finally is. The World is in shock but somehow he knew exactly how his fate would be played out some day more than anyone else knew, and he was right. Michael Jackson Autopsy Results:Death Report Deferred

Doctors conducted an autopsy on the body of Michael Jackson on Friday but could not immediately determine what killed the "King of Pop," amid reports he had been injected with a narcotic painkiller shortly before collapsing.Jackson was in full cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived at his rented mansion in the Holmby Hills neighbourhood of Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, with his personal physician trying desperately to revive him.

The 50-year-old pop superstar was rushed to nearby UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead without regaining consciousness."The cause of death (determination) has been deferred, which means that the medical examiner has ordered additional testing such as toxicology and other studies," Los Angeles County Coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey said. "Those tests we anticipate will take an additional four to six weeks."Speaking to a throng of reporters outside the coroner's office, Harvey said, "There was no indication of any external trauma or indication of foul play to the body of Mr. Jackson."

Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted "King of Pop" who emerged from childhood superstardom to become the entertainment world's most influential singer and dancer before his life and career deteriorated in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday, a person with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press. He was 50.

The person said Jackson died in a Los Angeles hospital. The person was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity.The circumstances of his death were not immediately clear. Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m., Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda told the newspaper.

Michael Jackson is secretly fighting skin cancer, it has been claimed.The 50-year-old was reportedly diagnosed last month after doctors saw spots of cancer on his neck and pre-cancerous cells on his face.However, despite the diagnosis, he was seen without his famous mask as he shopped for toys with his three masked children in Beverly Hills yesterday. Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana - an industrial suburb of Chicago. His was a working class family. He is the son of Joseph “Joe” Walter and Katherine Ester Jackson, and he is the seventh of nine children. His siblings are Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Randy, Janet, La Toya and Rebbie. His father, Joe, was a steel mill employee who was a part of an R&B band named The Falcons, along with his brother, Luther. His mother was a devout Jehovah’s Witness and raised the Jackson children in her religion.Michael Jackson claims to have been abused - both mentally and physically - by his father from a young age. His father, Joe, denies the abuse.

Michael Jackson exhibited musical talent early in his life. Her performed for both classmates and others at a Christmas recital when he was only five years old. Michael Jackson was seen Monday being pushed in a wheelchair as he shopped in a Las Vegas bookstore with his children.Photos of Michael Jackson snapped on Monday reveal the thin and sickly-looking star wearing pajamas and being pushed in a wheelchair. The photographer, Mike Lopez, described Jackson as “really frail. His skin was peeling and he looks so thin and gaunt.”

Michael Jackson and his children, Prince I, Paris and Prince II spent about two hours at a Las Vegas Barnes & Noble. No information was available on what they bought. They browsed through children’s books and CDs. He left separately from his children while store employees took their purchases to their vehicle.Michael Jackson has stated that he must cover himself at all times because of health problems.

It’s been reported that former pop super-star Michael Jackson is working on a comeback album.The move is basically reasoned as to help Michael’s financial woes which almost led the foreclosure of his Neverland ranch.“I’m coming back. And I’ve got a very special treat for all of my fans,” he told fans at Cannes, through a video message.Micahel,49, has reportedly hired music producers RedOne and Akon to mastermind his new album.

The trio started work on the album at the Palms recording studio in Las Vegas on Wednesday. He seems to be very serious this time. His kids are not allowed to enter the recording studio and he has distanced himself from their nanny Grace, Rwaramba, who he had been seeing.“Michael is producing the album himself and then will sell it to a record company when he’s finished,” a source tells.
