The Hills is a MTV reality-based program that follows the lives of several young people living in Los Angeles, California, with the show following the story of Lauren Conrad of Laguna Beach fame. The program first premiered on May 31, 2006. Season five marked Conrad's final season as she chose to depart from the series. It has been confirmed that former Laguna cast member Kristin Cavallari will take over the lead role starting in the bonus episodes (Season 5, Episode 11). Lauren Conrad’s White Tie Affair

About a month ago, The Hills star Lauren Conrad and her costar pals Audrina Patridge, Stephanie Pratt and Lauren “Lo” Bosworth enjoyed a private performance by pop-rock band The White Tie Affair in Hollywood.The band performed their singles “Mr. Right” and “The Letdown” in a special showcase organized by Audrina, an employee at their label, Epic Records.This Monday, September 15th TWTA will appear on the The Hills — Sean P (guitar), Chris Wallace (vocals), Tim McLaughlin (drums), Ryan McLain (keyboard) and Ryan Cook (bass), Their song “Candle” will air as the show’s credits roll.

Lauren Conrad Does Cosmo Girl

Lauren Conrad is the cover girl for next month’s Cosmo Girl. The Hills star looks beautiful in the pictures for the magazine, very natural and down to earth. For the interview Lauren talks about how hard it is being a celebrity in the times of the internet. She says,“Can you imagine being 22 and having your parents know everything about you? Literally, my mom can go on the Internet and find out where I went last night, who I was with. I mean, there are no secrets!”

That has to suck! But she has to weigh it all in with the pros and cons of being a celebrity. In other Lauren Conrad news: her fashion line (The Lauren Conrad Collection) has been dropped by Kitson, the LA Boutique carrying it. On top of it all, there are rumors that Lauren is not the real designer of the line, that it is Sherry Wood, the creative director and former designer for fashion label Tart.

This rumor got to Lauren and prompted this response;“The rumors that I am not the designer of my own collection are ridiculous and hurtful. I’ve been involved in this entire process, every single step of the way. I have wanted to be a fashion designer since I was a little girl. I grew up designing and sewing dresses for my Barbie dolls, and the Lauren Conrad Collection has been my dream come true.”

Lauren Conrad Nip Slip!

Lauren Conrad stepped out in a very low-cut dress this week. The reality star partied it up at Coco De Ville in West Hollywood, and cameras were following her very closely, trying to catch a Lauren Conrad nip slip, I’m sure. No luck in that department, but they did manage to get a good side boob picture of The Hills hottie.

This isn’t the first time a Lauren Conrad nip slip almost occurred. Earlier this year, Lauren wore a pretty, red, strapless dress to celebrate her 22nd birthday. While leaving from the club, LC was a bit tipsy and her dress almost came down, revealing part of her boobs. It seems LC has learned from her celebrity friends’ mistakes, and has managed to prevent nip slips so far.

In other Lauren Conrad news, The Hills will kick off its fourth season next month. The highly successful television show will have 19 new episodes this season. Lauren recently told L.A. direct that she is surprised at the longevity of her television career. She said,“I always say this isn’t what I signed up for. I thought I signed up for a one-episode documentary.”

Lauren Conrad Launched Own Fashion Line

Lauren Conrad launched her own fashion line and admits that maintaining a design career is proving to be an extreme challenge. She told the Wall Street Journal:"I'm sure a lot of people don't take me seriously. I spend the most amount of time on the line, and it's the thing that makes me the least amount of money."

Poor Lauren wasn't helped at all by MTV to promote her line so she relied on paparazzi to stir up press. A reporter wrote that Conrad chose to eat outside a restaurant because she'd be in better view of paparazzi.I guess she was desperate enough. It's surprising that we didn't hear she tried to sleep with anyone to help promote her line too. Maybe that's her plan for next time.

Heidi Montag Announces Her Own Clothing Line

Hills stars and ex-BFFs Heidi Montag, 21, and Lauren Conrad, 22, are taking their catfight to the catwalk, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue, on newsstands now.Just a month after the launch of Conrad’s clothing line, the Lauren Conrad Collection, Montag is announcing that her own label, Heidiwood, will hit Anchor Blue stores nationwide in April.And she’s plenty confident her duds — dresses, tops, jeans, bags and jewelry, all priced at less than $60 — have the competitive edge.

Lauren's line is not necessarily something I would wear," Montag tells Us."She's trying a high-fashion thing, but it's a little overpriced," Montag adds. "Mine is fun and flirty for the everyday woman. Most people can't afford $200 for one dress."Montag also insists she's a more legit fashionista than her former fashion-school classmate."When we were in school, I was the designer, and she was in, like, product development," she snipes.Conrad has yet to publicly critique Montag’s threads, focusing instead on the launch of her collection this week at L.A.'s Fashion Week.

Lauren Conrad, from the TV show ‘The Hills,’ was at LA’s S bar celebrating her 22nd birthday when she became a bad Sean Young impressionist. The girl was so drunk she needed assistance out of the club and into the driver’s seat. Totally kidding, she wasn’t driving. But it did look like she had a good time, and she still managed to look good in that red halter dress that looks dangerously close to dropping a little too far south. The Hills Season 3 Finale Featuring Lauren Conrad

The half-hour, third-season finale of The Hills on December 10 will be only a small part of a big two-day bash MTV is planning for its top reality TV series.

On the big night, MTV and the cast will present The Hills Finale: Live in Hollywood, broadcast live from L.A. hot spot Area, beginning at 8 p.m.

The finale itself airs at 10 p.m. ET, followed by a live after-show, during which the ladies will answer questions from viewers and then, like, OMG, totally make “an announcement that will leave fans wanting more,” according to MTV.

The audience at the live show will include up to 40 winners of “The Hills Biggest Fan Contest” - which is accepting video submissions through December 3 from fans explaining why they love the Laguna Beach spin-off series.

"I gotta be honest, I haven't seen the final episode yet," The Hills star Lauren Conrad told People on Thursday. "I know that something happens in our lives, but I don't know what they're showing... Something very exciting happens in my life. I can't tell you what, obviously, because it has to air, but it was a life-changing something." The Hills' finale will actually kick-off on Sunday, December 9 at 12PM ET/PT when MTV airs The Hills: Lauren Looks Back, a two-hour "video scrapbook" that will follow Conrad from her senior year at Laguna Beach High to the life she currently leads.

While Lauren Conrad is keeping mum on the "life-changing" decision she makes during the finale broadcast, People reported she's been offered another opportunity to move to Paris, a chance that was first presented to her during The Hills first-season finale.
