Carrie Underwood is engaged? It is true, people, that country-singing sensation and star-hockey player Mike Fisher will be sending out wedding invitations.Carrie Underwood’s spokesperson has, indeed, confirmed the news of the country-starlet becoming Mr. Mike Fisher.

CNN reports that a spokesperson for Underwood announced, “I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier,” adding “No wedding date has been set at this time.” Well, we congratulate you, as well! Such happy news in time for the holidays.

It is said that Fisher proposed to Underwood on Sunday and the couple went public with the happy-ever-after news today. For her album, “Play On” Underwood included a thank-you to her one-and-only writing, “Thank you #12,” in addition to,”You are the most amazing addition to my life! You are such a wonderful person and have had such an amazing hand in the building of this album and in the growth of me as a person. I love you so much! You make my life better in every way! I thank God for you every day. … xoxo, Carrie.” Tissue, please? No, really, we are very happy for the couple.

Fisher affirmed the engagement with the Ottawa Sun newspaper today expressing, “It’s true,” making further comment, “We’re both obviously excited and very happy.”The two have been dating for reportedly a year and have kept their relationship out of the media and a date has not been set.

Carrie Underwood Dating The Doctors: Dr. Travis Stork

Carrie Underwood, 25, country singing sensation and American Idol winner, has been seen out and about in New York City with Dr. Travis Stork. If that name sounds familiar you’ve either caught him as The Bachelor circa 2006 or as co-host on The Doctors, a new afternoon talk show.

Stork, 36 has a Nashville connection, having practiced ER medicine at Vanderbilt Medical Center. His latest television venture bills the ER Doc and his colleagues as ‘America’s medical dream team’. His cohorts include Dr. Jim Sears, Dr. Lisa Masterson and Dr. Drew Ordon. The show debut was in September 2008.

During Stork’s tenure on The Bachelor, he whittled down a group of 25 women and chose Nashville kindergarten teacher Sarah Stone to be his wife. The dew was off the rose before the show finale hit the airwaves and the couple parted, fondly remembering the show as a “great experience in Paris and we’ll never forget that”.Stork was photographed at one of Underwood’s recent Carnival Tour concerts in Topeka, Kansas. He was sporting an all-access backstage pass around his neck.

Tony Romo Still Calls Carrie Underwood

For a 25-year-old singer in the spotlight, Carrie Underwood has had her share of guy drama.The American Idol winner opens up in Allure's September issue about dating Dallas Cowboys player Tony Romo, Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford and a boyfriend who cheated on her in college."We were both small-town people doing very big things, and we relied on each other, dealing with fame," she says of Romo. "I don't know. The phone will ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer."

On her recent split with Crawford, she explains: "We didn't have a fight. No one cheated. It plain didn't work."One of her relationships from her days at Oklahoma's Northeastern State University could have inspired her hit "Before He Cheats.""I don't want to name names, even though he probably deserves it, but he fooled around," she says. "Oh, yeah – And lied."

Underwood says it's difficult to find friends she can trust – and guys who like her for the right reasons."You never really know why somebody wants to be around you, or if they do genuinely like you," she says. "I wish everyone had a label on their forehead so you could automatically tell their intentions. Carrie Underwood revealed a much sexier side of herself than we have ever seen. The country music star was spotted on the beach sporting a teeny tiny bikini. Carrie was soaking up the sun on the beach and listening to her ipod, no one around her really seemed to notice they were sitting next to the American Idol winner. Those poor souls, they will for sure be sad when they see these sexy pictures of Carrie Underwood in her bikini on the net, and realize they were right there.

Besides Carrie looking super hot in her super small bikini, the blonde beauty’s single Last Name has helped her break a record. Carrie was the first female artist to have two consecutive albums each release three number-ones on this chart since 1998, when Shania Twain broke this record.

Ex American Idol Carrie Underwood, graces the cover of next months Cosmo. Although it is not one of my favorite photos of Carrie, there is no doubt she is still gorgeous! While Carrie has more than proven herself with her mega voice, producing two very successful albums and winning three Grammy’s, Carrie reveals to the mag that she is just a small town, normal girl.

She says,” That person [onstage] says the right things and does the right things. And you know, that person’s cool. This person’s not,” Carrie says, pointing to herself.” This person is human.”I think that is part of the reason for her huge success; she is such a relatable, real person. She just happens to be absolutely stunning and have an amazing voice!Carrie just wrapped up her tour with Keith Urban and will continue touring various venues until September. The issue of Cosmo hits stands June 10th.

Carrie Underwood Breaks Down!!

It seems that the American Idol mega star Carrie Underwood and her emotions are all over the place. While singing “Don’t Forget to Remember Me,” at the Arena At Gwinnett Center with Keith urban Thursday, Carrie broke down into tears in the middle of the song’s chorous and she just couldn’t pull it together.

A rep for Underwood said the emotional song was inspired by the Carrie’s mother, and leaving home.“Hey Momma … tell Me-maw that I miss her/ Yeah, I should give her a call/ And make sure you tell Daddy that I’m still his little girl.”Later in the evening a more happy and fun Carrie told concert goers that she was happy and found the love of her life – her dog!! Too cute!

Carrie Underwood has made a new music video for the latest single off of her album. The video is for Carrie’s single All American Girl and features Carrie portraying a montage of different “All American” roles. Some may label it cheesy, but I adore Carrie and think that she is incredible. The song is a very cute and true to life, simple song. All American Girl seems to be a hit single, as it has been steadily climbing the charts and is sitting at number 12. Carrie Underwood To Perform On Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve

American Idol winner and country music star Carrie Underwood will perform live from Times Square during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2008. The special airs Monday, December 31 on ABC. Ryan Seacrest, also of American Idol fame, will serve as co-host with Dick Clark.Besides winning American Idol, Carrie Underwood has won two Grammys, four CMA Awards, five ACM Awards, four American Music Awards, eight Billboard Music Awards, four CMT Awards and two People’s Choice Awards . Underwood’s new album “Carnival Ride” sold over half a million copies in the first week.

In addition to Carrie Underwood,Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus will also spend New Year's Eve on the ABC-TV special, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2008. Underwood and Cyrus will perform live on stages in New York's Times Square, while Swift will appear during a party segment in Hollywood.Carrie Ann Inaba from Dancing With The Stars will be making a special appearance in the show’s first hour.
