Miley Cyrus attended the 2009 Teen Choice Awards taping last night Sunday, August 9th, 2009 and shocked the audience with an interesting performance involving an ice cream cart and a stripper pole. Read more about the Miley Cyrus pole dance, see photos and video here.Miley Cyrus took to the 2009 Teen Choice Awards to perform in a pair of hot pants, attire that is almost questionable for that of a sixteen year old.
However, even more shocking is the attempt to pay homage to ice cream distributors. Miley sang her new song “Party in the USA” on atop of an ice cream cart AND included a stripper pole as part of her act. So, is this just an attempt for Cyrus to be more edgy or just poor judgment on her manager and parents’ part. The 2009 Teen Choice Awards were taped last night, with the airing to take place tonight August 10th, 2009.
Miley Cyrus’ sexy Twitter picture is causing a stir again. The Disney starlet can’t seem to keep her name out of the press for scandalous photos.Miley Cyrus has found herself in the news again after sexy pictures of the teen hit Twitter. Miley was working on the set of her new movie, which is directed by Adam Shankman, when she and Adam took some impromptu photos. These are much sexier than her underwear photos, and girlfriend is definitely workin’ the sexy hair. The only issue – SHE IS 16!
Adam posted them on Twitter, which then caused a crazy ruckus on the internet, of course. When Shankman, who is 44, realized the pictures were causing problems for his 16-year-old star, he took to his Twitter page again to defend them:“Miley is a sweet angel who works tirelessly and endlessly, and is allowed to have fun in the make up room! Seriously! Lighten up or no more behind the scenes pics! She’s like my angel little sister.”
I think Miley’s twitter photo is hot, and perhaps a bit too sexy, but she is just having fun. That’s what teens do – she just happens to be very, very famous so her every move is scrutinized. So what are your thoughts on the Miley Cyrus sexy Twitter pictures? Are they too much for a 16 year old or do people need to chill out?Miley’s film, ‘The Last Song’ comes out in 2010.
Here is the new Miley Cyrus Nick Jonas ‘Before the Storm’ video that is one of the tracks on ‘Lines, Vines and Trying Times,’ the fourth studio album of the Jonas Brothers.UPDATED with the live concert performance video from June 20, 2009 below. What began as a musical duet of two 16-year-old pop stars may now be more, as Miley Cyrus has confirmed rumors that she and ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas have, in her words, “reconnected.”
She made the revelation during a radio interview, on Friday, June 12, on 107.5 The River’s Woody and Jim morning show in Nashville as reported by USMagazine.com.“He’s my best friend, and we still hang out all the time. We’ve definitely reconnected. We don’t know what’s going to happen in the future, but right now we’re just kind of kicking it and hanging out as much as we can.”
Meanwhile, in the days preceding the release of the Grammy Award nominated band’s new album, fans had been eagerly await every snippet and every song that emerged. No less the Miley Cyrus Nick Jonas Before The Storm with the teen pop stars; the Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist of the Jonas Brothers.
The Before The Storm lyrics and music were written collectively by the band, Nick Jonas, Joseph Jonas, Kevin Jonas. Some of the poignant lines of the Miley Cyrus Nick Jonas Before the Storm lyrics: ‘I was thinking back to where we started and how we lost all that we are./We were young and times were easy but I can see it’s not the same.’ The Before the Storm lyrics in their entirety are here.
The forthcoming Jonas Brothers ‘Lines Vines and Trying Times’ album was released internationally on June 16, 2009 and band embarked on the Jonas Brothers World tour which kicked off at New Cowboy Stadium, Arlington, Texas on June 20, 2009 where Miley Cyrus made a guest appearance as seen in the video below. Former American Idol Jordin Sparks, Wonder Girls and Honor Society are among supporting acts who will perform at various points during the tour.Miley Cyrus has also been on tour in the UK and later in the U.S. with her older brother, Trace Cyrus’ band Metro Station as a supporting act.
Miley Cyrus has hit the beach looking every inch the Hollywood star she has become at the tender age of 16.The Hannah Montana star is in the Bahamas soaking up the sun for a relaxing family holiday.Pictured in a mix and match bikini set she is spotted at one point climbing on an inflatable banana boat for a high speed thrill.
But her idyllic break was rudely interrupted when she was attacked via her Twitter page after she left a post commenting on her thighs. The singer turned actress joked that she should give up eating sugary food at night after spotting her 'jiggling thighs'.But she hit back at her critics saying she was just a 'normal girl'.She wrote: 'Talk all you want. I have my flaws. I'm a normal girl (sic) there's things about my body I would change but stop with calling me f*t in post.
'I don't even like the word. Those remarks that you hateful people use are fighting words. The ones that scar people and cause them to do damage to themselves or others.People that are so okay with being so hateful disgust me and need to spend last time on a gossip website and more time a. reading your bible b. reading stories/articles about what happens when cyber abuse and name calling happens. Kids hurt themselves.
Miley Cyrus brought London's Leicester Square to a standstill last night as she showed off her long legs in a short designer dress at the première of Hannah Montana: The Movie.Thousands of children and teenagers queued for hours in central London to get a glimpse of their 16-year-old idol.As Miley stepped out of her limo with her dad Billy Ray Cyrus, screams erupted across the square as fans clambered for a signature and photograph with the teen star.
Despite her tender age, Miley is already turning into a fashion icon thanks to her love of designer couture. After a spending spree at affordable TopShop on Oxford Street hours earlier, it seems Miley declined to wear one of her purchases in favour of a stunning metallic mini dress by Herve Leger by Max Azaria. The singer/actress chose a dress from Herve Leger's Autumn 2009 collection that isn't available in the shops yet but is expected to sell for four figures like other dresses from the designer.
She teamed her stunning dress with a pair of gunmetal Sergio Rossi killer heels and swept her hair off her face in a loose up 'do.Leaving her 20-year-old model boyfriend Justin Gaston at home, Miley's date for the night was her father Billy, the country singer who also plays her father in the movie. She has been romantically linked to underwear model Justin since September - when she was 15 - but only recently confirmed they were an item.
Here is the Jennifer Hudson American Idol video. See photos, the If This Isn’t Love Lyrics and video of the Grammy Award and Academy Award winning star and season 3 Idol who made a triumphant return on the Season 8 Top 7 results American Idol April 15, 2009.
The Jennifer Hudson American Idol season 8 performance was recorded the previous month and shown for the first time on what was supposed to be a Season 8 Top 7 results show, but it had a surprise ending. Who was sent home? No one! The judges used the ‘judges save’ to keep Matt Giraud on the show, despite his having received the lowest score from the voting audience.
Not that any of this overshadows the 27-year-old actress and R&B singer-songwriter’s performance of If This Isn’t Love from her self-titled debut album. Jennifer Hudson American Idol never ceases to thrill and amaze with her powerhouse voice. She delighted the audience and viewers as she delivered spine tingling high notes. If This Isn’t Love lyrics and song are by Theron Thomas, Terry Thomas and Brian Kennedy, and produced by Kennedy for the singer’s debut album.
In talking about her return to the show to perform, Jennifer Hudson, expressed her gratitude, excitement and enthusiasm over the success of her debut album, which was released last fall and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and won the 2009 Grammy for Best R&B Album. She also mentioned her engagement, though not letting us know a wedding date. It is also one of her first performances since the Jennifer Hudson family tragedy of last October which saw the shooting deaths of her mother, brother and nephew.
While the prerecorded Jennifer Hudson sang the touching If This Isn’t Love Lyrics, the singer is elsewhere, in her first headlining tour with fellow R&B singer-songwriter Robin Thicke.
Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx turned shock jock the other day when he spewed vitriol at tween sensation Miley Cyrus on his Sirius satellite radio show.“The Foxxhole Sunday” host and his crew lashed out at Cyrus, referring to the 16-year-old as a “little white (bleep)” and advising her to “make a sex tape and grow up,” E! Online reports.
The actor/rapper’s outburst was fueled by a caller who brought up a recent story in which Cyrus pledged to “ruin” the band Radiohead after the notoriously shy rockers rejected a request to meet with the Disney superstar backstage at the Grammys.“Who is Miley Cyrus?” Foxx, who has a teenage daughter of his own, asked. “The one with all the gums? She gotta get a gum transplant . . .(expletive deleted)”
He didn’t stop there. “Get like Britney Spears and do some heroin. Do like Lindsay Lohan and start seeing a lesbian and get some crack in your pipe. Catch chlamydia on a bicycle seat. That’s what I want.”The “Hannah Montana” star has not officially issued a response but she did post a Pollyannish entry on her Twitter page last night. “If you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all,” she tweeted.
A rep for Foxx said a statement would be released soon but fans shouldn’t be taking the actor’s blowout too seriously. “I’m sure you’re aware,” the publicist told E! News, “that Jamie’s show is a comedy.”

Miley Cyrus cleavage has become the story. See photos and video of what happened when the Hannah Montana star went out for a jog in a low cut t-shirt revealing a bikini top, alongside shirtless older boyfriend Justin Gaston at Toluca Lake in the San Fernando Valley over the weekend.Yes, cleavage revealing t-shirt, green bikini bra top and daisy dukes. The 16-year-old child star, who is racing headlong and chest forward to an early adulthood, has sent the Internet into an uproar over pictures, (yes, yet again…).
What to do? She defended her jogging attire, or lack thereof, on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show.“I don’t get the big whoop, but whatever. I guess it’s just… I’m not allowed to jog any more.” “I don’t get why people are allowed to take pictures and make them something they’re not, but I guess that’s just how their job works and how they’ll make the most money.”
The Hannah Montana star went on to explain that she was with her 8-year-old little sister (not visible in any of the paparazzi photos) who, she said wanted to have a car wash. She noted that it was 100 degrees outside and the baggy t-shirt that didn’t hide her bikini was her mother’s.“As I’m running, it got a little bit lower and you could see a little of the bathing suit top…So, oh my goodness, Miley Cyrus wears a two-piece! Kill me! I’m wearing a two-piece. … with an 8-year old.”
Meanwhile some opine that the low cut t-shirt and the daisy dukes and the shirtless boyfriend were all elements of a crafted photo op. Who can’t say Miley Cyrus along with 20-year-old underwear model boyfriend Justin Gaston, hasn’t done her part (wittingly or unwittingly) to stimulate the economy and keep photo agencies and news organizations afloat?
Less than a year after her infamous Vanity Fair shoot, another photo of teen queen Miley Cyrus is causing controversy. In a photograph taken with boyfriend Justin Gaston and a group of friends, the Hannah Montana star, 16, pulls a slant-eye pose in an apparent attempt to 'look Asian'.After the image was leaked on to the internet, Asian American groups have condemned the pose as 'racist' and demanded an apology from the teenager.
A spokesman for the Organisation of Chinese American (OCA) said: 'The photo falls within a long and unfortunate history of people mocking and denigrating individuals of Asian descent.'Not only has Miley Cyrus and the other individuals in the photograph encouraged and legitimised the taunting and mocking of people of Asian descent, she has also insulted her many Asian Pacific American friends.'We hope that Miley Cyrus will apologise to her fans and the APA community for this lapse in judgment and takes the opportunity to better understand why the gesture is offensive.'
The OCA said the inclusion of an Asian American in the photo, the only one in a group of eight who wasn't pulling a face, did not make the image acceptable. This isn't the first time Miley has attracted controversy for her personal photos.Several images on the internet of Miley posing with friends were criticised as too suggestive for her age.Last year, Miley apologised and admitted she was 'embarrassed' over her topless pose for acclaimed photographer Annie Liebovitz in Vanity Fair magazine.
The teenager, who was 15 at the time, appeared to be topless as she pose with just a cream sheet across her chest.Following the outcry from family groups and outraged parents, Miley said: 'I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.
Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus is 16, in love, and wants a tattoo of her boyfriend’s initials.According to reports, Miley has drawn her own design for her first tattoo, which is a heart with the initials of Justin Gaston in the middle. The only catch for Miley: you need parental permission to get a tattoo if you’re under the age of 18, and not surprisingly that hasn’t been forthcoming yet.“She’s trying to play her mom, Tish, against her dad to get one of them to agree to the tattoo” according to a source.Miley has previously worn a temporary tattoo in a similar configuration.
The tattoo reportedly holds the design of a heart with the initial of Justin Gaston, the underwear model she has been romantically linked, in the middle. Though already having the design, the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus allegedly is still trying to convince her parents to have it etched on her body.
“She’s trying to play her mom, Tish, against her dad to get one of them to agree to the tattoo. So far, her mom is the one who seems more cool with the idea than Billy Ray.”Back in late 2008, Miley Cyrus has been seen sporting a temporary tattoo which bears JG + MC=Love at a concert at the MGM Grand in Foxwoods, CT.
Miley Cyrus debuted her new video for Fly on the Wall on MTV.Tween sensation Miley Cyrus has dropped a new video from her latest album, Breakout. The Fly on the Wall video draws parallels to Michael Jackson’s classic video for Thriller, only instead of being chased by flesh eating zombies, Miley is chased by evil paparazzi. After cornering her in a garage, they break out into a nifty dance number.Miley says the song itself is about the constant media attention she gets:
“Fly on the Wall is about the media. It’s about how they think they know everything about me, when they don’t. They want to be a fly on my wall and watch me 24/7.”Miley says that, despite this not being the first song released off of Breakout, it is her favorite. She thought 7 Things set a better tone for her entire album, however feels that the catchy dance beat in Fly on the Wall makes this single a standout.
Fly on the Wall lyrics:
You don’t understand what it is That makes me tick But you wish you did You always second guess, wonder if I say yes but you just lose out every time
If you only knew what I talked about When I’m with my friends just hangin’ out Then you’d have the inside scoop On what to say, what to do That way when you play the game Baby you can never lose
(Chorus:) Don’t you wish that you could be a fly on the wall A creepy little, sneaky little fly on the wall All my precious secrets, yeah You’d know them all Don’t you wish that you could be a fly on the wall
You’d love to know, the things I do When I’m with my friends, and not with you You always second guess, wonder if There’s other guys I’m flirting with You should know by now
If you were my boyfriend, I’d be true to you If I make a promise, I’m comin’ through Don’t you wish that you could See me every second of the day That way you would have no doubt That baby I would never stray
(Chorus:) Don’t you wish that you could be a fly on the wall A creepy little sneaky little fly on the wall All my precious secrets, yeah You’d know them all Don’t you wish that you could be a fly on the wall
A little communication That’ll go a long way You’re getting misinformation Too much hearsay, hearsay
And what I say is Come a little closer And what I’m gonna say is
Don’t You Don’t You Don’t You Don’t you wish you were a… Hey!
(Chorus:) Don’t you wish that you could be a fly on the wall A creepy little sneaky little fly on the wall All my precious secrets, yeah You’d know them all Don’t you wish that you could be a fly on the wall
Check out a behind-the-scenes video of Fly on the Wall here, and see the music video below.
And now there are three: Brooke Burke, Lance Bass and Warren Sapp. One of them will be crowned the winner of "Dancing With the Stars," a title that means absolutely nothing. It's not like winning an Emmy or an Oscar. Previous winners have gone on to do just about what they were doing before millions of TV viewers watched them dance in a reality competition that has done wonders for ballroom dancing in America.
The final round of competition is tonight on ABC. The winner will be announced on a Tuesday results show featuring Miley Cyrus, who will sing, not dance. The "Hannah Montana" star will take a break from production on her hit Disney Channel series and from promoting her new movie, "Bolt," to perform "Fly on the Wall," the second single from her No. 1 album, "Breakout."
In the short history of "Dancing With the Stars," the celebrity who has profited the most didn't win. Marie Osmond, however, lost a lot of weight and revived her career. She has a talk show coming to a TV near you in 2009.Sapp is of interest to Tampa Bay area couch spuds because he once played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While here, he had a reputation for being difficult, outspoken and ferocious on and off the football field.
On "Dancing," he has turned into a twinkle-toed teddy bear. "Dancing" fans marvel at his agility: How can a 300-pound guy move the way he does?He still talks smack and looks menacing. And there have been rumors that he's a diva backstage. But he's teamed with the adorable Kym Johnson and he's turned in some spirited performances.
But he probably won't win because, traditionally, the fish-out-of-water professional athletes come close but don't win. Emmitt Smith was the exception in 2006.Former N' Sync heartthrob Lance Bass might take this season's prize because he's perky and fun.
If technical skill and beauty were the only criteria, then model/actress Brooke Burke would win. She appears to have the most natural dance talent of all the celebrities left in the competition. She's won over the judges many times and she looks stunning in those glitzy outfits. But does she connect with the audience? I think not. She doesn't seem to have the personality that the flamboyant Sapp has. Nor is she as endearing to viewers as Bass.
If Nickelodeon guesses right, 'True Jackson' star "True Jackson, VP," Premieres will follow in the popular footsteps of Miley Cyrus, Miranda Cosgrove, and other tween stars.True Jackson has quite a bit in common with her fellow sitcom characters on Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel. She’s a good girl — not a rebel — with adult-sized ambitions and a streak of adorable klutziness. She has a multiracial mix of goofy best friends. And she’s likely to appear on a product near you.
That about sums up the formula of tween TV, and of Nickelodeon's newest entry into the sitcom market. "True Jackson, V.P.," which premieres tonight at 9:30, features "Akeelah and the Bee" star Keke Palmer as a 15-year-old fashion designer, named vice president of a major fashion house. And Nickelodeon hopes it will make Palmer the latest in a line of mostly wholesome, multiplatform teenage stars.
The kids who might love True are the 8-to-12-year-old girls who made "Hannah Montana" a nationwide phenomenon, and whose spending powers have made them a coveted demographic. In recent years, the Disney Channel has unleashed a string of sitcoms designed for them, from the onetime hit "That's So Raven" to the current show "Wizards of Waverly Place." Nickelodeon has offered such competitors as "Zoey 101" - which was canceled after star Jamie-Lynn Spears got pregnant at 17 - and the current hit "iCarly."
Each has a multicamera format, a loud laugh track, a penchant for slapstick, and a lead character who projects a certain sort of purity. (The zapping of Spears was little surprise, and some believe Miley Cyrus's provocative Vanity Fair portraits herald her impending exit from the tween-idol scene.) Shows aimed at teenagers, such as the CW's "Gossip Girl" and "90210," are loaded with provocative behavior. But on tween TV, high school is a safe and pure place, and stars are aware of their role-model status. Both "Waverly Place" star Selena Gomez and up-and-comer Demi Lovato - the star of last summer's Disney Channel movie "Camp Rock," who is now filming a Disney sitcom of her own - wear "promise rings" declaring that they'll wait until marriage for sex.Palmer, 15, who is involved with the teen mentoring program "It's Cool to Be Smart," seems equally willing to embrace the good-girl image.
Miley Cyrus is going to put her acting skills to test in a movie that was written just for her. Nicholas Sparks is writing an untitled novel with Miley in mind for the lead when it is made into a movie.Miley Cyrus will star in a Nicholas Sparks novel made movie. Nicholas is the author of “The Notebook, “Message in a Bottle,” and his new “Nights in Rodanth,.” all of which were also brought to life on the big screen.
Miley’s mom Tish will be the exec producer. And, following in the footsteps of Mandy Moore, this will rely on Miley’s acting skills, not vocals. The project is still untitled but Sparks says he hopes to release it late next year. The premise for the novel deals with family and romance. Details about the story are still being kept a secret, however we know Disney-based “Hairspray” director Adam Shankman will produce it along with Jennifer Gigbot.
Here’s the list of the MTV VMA’s winners and losers. Winners in Bold!

"Teen star of the hit Disney television series “Hannah Montana” Miley Cyrus appears to have died in a tragic car accident in the early hours of Friday morning. The young starlet was on her way to the filming of the upcoming “Hannah Montanna” Series when her vehicle was reportedly hit by a large truck. Witnesses estimate that the colliding vehicle was travelling at “At least 55mph” and had “Run a stop sign.” Although rushed in a critical condition to Pacific Alliance Medical Centre, the news broke quickly amongst reporters that the teen had succumbed to her injuries during surgery."
I don’t know who started this internet rumor, but it’s not true. Miley Cyrus is not dead. This image has been floating around the internet. If you go to yahoo news and type in miley cyrus, you can see nothing about it comes up.Moreover if you go to reuters and type the search in, nothing comes back. Just some prank started by some punk. oh and please stop digging this hoax. The Hannah Montana star is alive and well.
Miley Cyrus will celebrate her Sweet 16 birthday at Disneyland and you can be a part of it!The “Hannah Montana” star is also sharing the spotlight during the private party with some deserving young people from Youth Service America who’ve been making a difference in their communities.
ET tells that Miley’s fans are going to be able to join in the fun too! A limited number of $250 tickets to the exclusive event, “Miley’s Sweet 16, Share the Celebration,” go on sale on August 30 at 9am PDT. That’s cheaper then good tickets to a Hannah Montana concert. Miley turns the big 1-6 on November 23 and like any teen eligible for a driver’s license, she wants a car!
Meet Adam Sevani, the actor who is rumored to be dating Miley Cyrus.Adam Sevani and Disney star Miley Cyrus have been spotted spending a lot of time together in recent days. The two ‘tween actors have been spotted riding bikes together, and you can check out those pictures here. An insider revealed to US Weekly that the two just began dating.
Adam Sevani was born June 29, 1992 in Los Angeles California. He is an actor and dancer who was first recognized for his dance moves in the film Step Up 2: The Streets. He also has a Youtube dance off video with his rumored girlfriend, Miley Cyrus, of which Miley’s dance crew M&M took the victory.
Adam Sevani is the younger brother of V Sevani, who is in the boy band NTL. He appeared in NTL’s first music video “That Girl” and did the choreography for their latest video “Karma.” Adam has appeared in many other videos, including Mase’s “Breathe, Stretch, Shake,” Will Smith’s “Switch,” T-Pain’s “Church” and Missy Elliot’s “I’m Really Hot.”I think Adam Sevani sill has a way to go on his celebrity status, but if he is dating Miley Cyrus and it lasts, he may jump up a few drastic notches.
