Lauren Conrad Does Cosmo Girl

Lauren Conrad is the cover girl for next month’s Cosmo Girl. The Hills star looks beautiful in the pictures for the magazine, very natural and down to earth. For the interview Lauren talks about how hard it is being a celebrity in the times of the internet. She says,“Can you imagine being 22 and having your parents know everything about you? Literally, my mom can go on the Internet and find out where I went last night, who I was with. I mean, there are no secrets!”

That has to suck! But she has to weigh it all in with the pros and cons of being a celebrity. In other Lauren Conrad news: her fashion line (The Lauren Conrad Collection) has been dropped by Kitson, the LA Boutique carrying it. On top of it all, there are rumors that Lauren is not the real designer of the line, that it is Sherry Wood, the creative director and former designer for fashion label Tart.

This rumor got to Lauren and prompted this response;“The rumors that I am not the designer of my own collection are ridiculous and hurtful. I’ve been involved in this entire process, every single step of the way. I have wanted to be a fashion designer since I was a little girl. I grew up designing and sewing dresses for my Barbie dolls, and the Lauren Conrad Collection has been my dream come true.”
