Angelina Jolie Will Star As Catwoman

With The Dark Knight setting all kinds of records, many have been wondering if there is any way to follow it. The LA Times seems to think that having Angelina Jolie star as Catwoman in the next movie would do the trick. I can’t say I’ve ever thought about it, but I don’t disagree. She would be an awesome Catwoman, and it seems she thinks so as well.

Julie Newmar, who played the original Catwoman in the 1960’s television series, told the New York Daily News; “Angelina would own the part. My industry friends tell me (she) has made inquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman’s one true love. She’s tremendously popular with women because she’s both a heroine and a villainess.”
