Britney Spears Taken to Hospital

There are reports pop starlet Britney Spears has been taken to hospital from her home, after police were called to resolve a custody dispute.Celebrity news website TMZ says Spears has been taken to a hospital for a "medical hold," which it described as a mental evaluation.

Police "found her earlier this evening at her home under the influence of an 'unknown substance'," the site reports.They had been called after she refused to return her two young sons to their father.LAPD spokesman Officer Jason Lee says that officers had been at Spears' hilltop home in the suburb of Studio City since 8pm local time "trying to resolve the dispute peacefully and legally," according to the court order governing Spears' two sons with former husband Kevin Federline.
