Biggest Loser Winner Is Ali Vincent
The "Biggest Loser" is Ali Vincent and she has made history, she is the first woman to ever win the competition. She is absolutely adorable and was far and away the fan favorite and the fans will love the fact that she pulled it off. The final count, Roger Shultz lost 164 pounds, Ali lost 112 pounds, and Kelly Fields lost 109 pounds. But in the end it was all Ali Vincent's night.
Mark Kruger was eliminated early and did not make the finals. This win makes this season one of the most enjoyable ever to watch of the show and now that it seems possible that the event won't be so one-sided towards the guys, it will make it much more interesting for next season. Not that I mind the guys winning, but this just gives the show more of an edge.
Liberty from Health Bolt has this analysis and I think it is spot on, "The thing that strikes me most about Ali is her “In It To Win It” attitude. She said she was going to be the first female Biggest Loser, and by golly, she was. That seems to be a key to long-term weight loss. You have to become the person you want to be, instead of just thinking of becoming that person. To do so, of course, takes effort each day, one day at a time."
Liberty adds, "Small things here and there add up to make a giant difference. And while it’s unlikely that the majority of us will ever go through the intensive training that the Biggest Loser contestants did, it is comforting and inspiring to know that every little bit of exercise we eek out, every cookie we skip is all adding up toward one important goal." Congratulations to Ali!
