Claire Danes Is New Face Of Gucci

Claire Danes is replacing Drew Barrymore as the face of Gucci for their fall 08 ad campaign. The campaign will launch in autumn and Danes is said to be excited to work with Gucci. She says,”I am honored to be working with Gucci on their jewelry campaign. Frida Giannini is a very inspiring and creative woman. Her vision is extraordinary and I am excited to be a part of it.”

The creative director is also fond of Claire saying,“Claire Danes is a modern icon. For me she is one of the most interesting young actresses on the international scene. She is very natural, fresh and has a carefree attitude that is reflected in the roles she has chosen. Claire’s sensual, confident beauty and her passionate, independent and strong character embodies today’s Gucci woman.”I like Drew Barrymore, but I think that Claire represents the face of Gucci much better.
