Cristian De La Fuente Suffered Injury!
A contestant on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, Cristian de la Fuente suffered an arm injury during last night’s live performance episode.Cristian had to stop during his second dance, The Samba, with partner Cheryl Burke when she fell back into his injured arms.“Let’s find out what’s going on,” host Tom Bergeron said once the routine was over.“I pulled a muscle,” de la Fuente answered as the studio audience was silent.
Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli praised de la Fuente for carrying on despite his injury. They each gave him a score of 7.“You cannot predict what happens,” Tonioli told de la Fuente. “You did your best and we appreciate that. And we’ll have to judge on what we saw, but I hope you’re coming back because you’re a great performer.”
While, judges praised his willingness to continue on the show, it’s unclear when he will be back. Burke is now concerned her partner will be voted off.An announcement about his condition will be made on Tuesday night’s results show, the spokeswoman said.
