Ex-Olympic Skater Pasha Grishuk Drugged!!
Pasha Grishuk is in the news as it has been reported that she was drugged on April 12at the St. Regis in Orange County. She had attended a business meeting there and after returning to her table and taking a sip of wine, she noticed a half dissolved pill at the bottom of her wine glass. Paramedics and police were called to the hotel, and by the time they arrived, Pasha was already feeling sick. A second wine glass that she had been drinking from was found to have the pill residue as well.OC Sheriffs Department spokesman Jim Amormino said, “The incident is under investigation and we are waiting for toxicology reports to come back.”
Pasha was born on March 17, 1972 in Odessa, Ukraine as Oksana (Pasha) Grishuk. She is 36 years old. Pasha was only 4 years old when she started training as an ice skater under coach Walentina Kasianova. In 1986, she moved to Moscow and began to train at Sport club Dynamo under coach Elena Alexandrowa. She decided at 12 years of age to cross over to ice dancing. Natalia Linichuk became her coach, who was an ice dancing champion and gold medalist herself.
Pasha was paired with Evgeny Platov, and together they amassed several world championships (1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997) and two Olympic gold medals (1994 Lillehammer and 1998 Nagano).She split from Platov in 1999 and is currently a solo skater, living in Los Angeles.
