Heather Mitts is a World Champion soccer player and one of the sexiest women in sports.Heather Mitts has just been put back on the roster of the U.S. women’s soccer team. She had been out due to surgery she had last year on an anterior cruciate ligament in one of her knees. Heather won a gold medal with the U.S. team at the 2004Athens Olympics and is now preparing to be a part of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Heather Mitts was born on June 9, 1978 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her parents are Don, who is a cardiac surgeon and Jan Peck, who is a personal trainer. Heather starting playing soccer when she was 6-years-old and has played every since. She starting playing in organized sports at 8-years-old. She’s dabbled in other sports, but soccer is her game.

Heather has been romantically connected with several athletes. She had a four year relationship with Miami Dolphins quarterback A. J. Feeley. They broke up in March of 2007. She then dated tennis player James Blake. Prior to dating Feeley, she dated Philadelphia Phillies slugger Pat Burrell. She’s not dating anyone regularly at the moment.

Heather played soccer throughout her high school and college careers. She graduated from the University of Florida. Her team finished 2nd in the 2006 Algarve Cup and won the gold at the 2004 Athens Olympics.ESPN voted Heather the ‘Hottest Female Athlete’ in 2004. She has worked as a sideline reporter for ESPN2.
