Jodie Sweetin Is Latest Celebrity Mom

Jodie Sweetin, the one-time child star who played Stephanie on “Full House” and later became tabloid fodder after struggling with meth.On April 12, 2008, Jodie Sweetin and her husband Cody Herpin welcomed a baby girl into their lives. They named the little girl Zoie, who weighed 8 lbs. 7 oz. Jodie’s rep said,“Jodie says that she and her husband and family are absolutely thrilled and in love with baby Zoie.”

Jodie Sweetin was born on January 19, 1982 in Los Angeles, California, so her age is 26. She began acting at the age of 4, when she appeared in an Oscar Mayer hot dog commercial. After a couple bit parts, Jodie landed the role of Stephanie Tanner on “Full House” in 1987, and she stayed on the show for all eight seasons.After “Full House” ended, Jodie tried to resume a normal life and attended high school and college. At the age of 20, she married police officer Shaun Holguin Houston III. Candice Cameron, Jodie’s on-screen sister, was in the wedding party.

Unfortunately, she was struggling with an addiction to methamphetamines at the time. Jodie says she was unemployed and bored, so she began experimenting until she was using meth daily. After an alleged intervention staged by her family and friends, including “Full House” castmates Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, John Stamos, and Bob Saget, Jodie spent six weeks in the Promises rehab facility. Her husband had no idea, and the couple’s relationship deteriorated. They divorced in 2006.

Jodie is now trying to restart her acting career. In 2006 she hosted Fuse TV’s “Pants-Off Dance Off”. But the revitalization of her career seems to be inspiring some wild behavior. On July 14, 2007, Jodie married set designer Cody Herpin in Las Vegas. Shortly after she was married, Jodie was spotted giving her man a lap dance at L.A. club Area. She announced she was pregnant in September and the baby, Zoie, was born on April 12, 2008.
