Rachelle Carson Begley, wife of actor Ed Begley now starring on the new environmentally friendly show “Living with Ed”.“Living with Ed” premiered on HGTV November 5, 2007, and we’ve gotten sneak peeks into the lives of actor Ed Begley and his wife Rachelle Carson on the show. The television show is now in its second season, and USA Today explores how Ed and Rachelle came to live the most eco-friendly life in Hollywood.

Rachelle Carson Begley is an actress and a Pilates instructor. She has appeared in dozens of television shows, including “NYPD Blue” and “8 Simple Rules”. She’s described as “true beauty, talent, comedic ability, timing and she’s smart to boot.”Rachelle and Ed married on August 23, 2000. They’ve been living the eco-friendly lifestyle with their daughter Hayden ever since. Except some viewers of “Living with Ed” feel that while it might be eco, it’s certainly not friendly. Rachelle appears to live in contempt of Ed’s environmental ways, wishing only for a little more Hollywood in her life. She didn’t even like the tofu brownies Ed made for his birthday.

I’ll hold out hope that she’s playing for the cameras to build up the odd-couple theme of the show. Because who wouldn’t love sun-warmed water and a milk-jug picket fence? And you gotta love an actor who bikes to the Oscars. Seriously!But Rachelle is pretty environmentally conscious herself. She recalls screaming “Polluter” out the car window at big trucks as a little girl. In fact, Ed and Rachelle met at an environmental event in 1993.
