Tara Palmer Tomkinson Is A British Television Personality

Tara Palmer Tomkinson, the British television personality and magazine columnist who can’t seem to stay out of the tabloids.The attention-grabbing Tara Palmer Tomkinson was most recently seen out in London after drinking. Deciding she had to get out of the party immediately, Tara took off running after a taxi in her 4-inch heels and a fringed mini skirt. When she made, she fell into the back, and lay sprawled across the seat. All in a night’s work.

Tara Palmer Tomkinson was born on December 23, 1971 in Hampshire, England, so her age is 36. Her measurements are 32B. Her father was an Olympic skiier. Tara went to the Sherborne School for Girls, and thereafter moved to London. She briefly worked for Rothschild bank before landing a gig as a weekly columnist for the Sunday Times. Since then her articles have appeared in The Spectator, The Mail on Sunday, GQ, Eve, Harpers and Queen, Tatler, Instyle, and The Observer.Tara has also worked as a television presenter on shows like “Animals Do The Funniest Things”, “Top of the Pops”, “The British Comedy Awards … Party On”, and “Extreme”. But she didn’t stop at television presenting; she also joined several reality television shows. On “Cold Turkey”, the cameras followed Tara and Sophie Anderton as they tried to quit smoking.

In 1999, it was revealed that Tara had a pretty bad cocaine habit, spending up to £400 per day on the drug. After appearing on the Frank Skinner Show quite disheveled and disoriented, she check herself into rehab at the Meadows Clinic in Arizona. She has been sober for eight years now, but after a celebrity appearance in 2006, many fans were afraid her nose was going to collapse. In the photos, there is a large indentation in the bridge of her nose, likely caused by the 5-grams-of-cocaine-a-day habit.

In September 2007, Tara released the book “The Naughty Girl’s Guide to Life”. I’m not sure what advice it included, but hopefully something along of the lines of avoid cocaine, don’t smoke two packs a day, and be careful with your cash because it doesn’t grow on trees. In addition to her drug troubles, Tara once lost a Nicorette ad campaign because she didn’t quit smoking. She also got into horrible debt at age 24 by charging all kinds of expensive things on her Amex black card. Now she’s back on the financial track with two properties worth more than £2 million.Now the British celebrity is releasing an album. Called “Imperfection”, it is set to come out sometime this month. Tara once joked that it would come with a free set of earplugs.
