2008 Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) Winners

The 2008 Academy of Country Music Awards airs tonight.The 43d annual Academy of Country Music Awards, seen at 8:00 PM ET on CBS, is hosted by country superstar Reba McEntire. The show, shown live from Las Vegas, include performances by country’s elite - Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Dolly Parton, Sugarland, Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn, Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, and many more.

For the first time in history, fans voted for ACM Entertainer of the Year award. Nominees include Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, George Strait and Keith Urban. Hands down Kenny Chesney is my winner!

In addition to ACM winners being announced, Garth Brooks will be awarded the first ACM Crystal Milestone Award, recognizing him for his many career achievements. Rascal Flatts receives the The Home Depot Humanitarian Award, in recognition of their continuing community service and charitable contributions.
