American Idol : David Cook Videos

It’s finally here, the ‘American Idol’ season finale is on next week and it’s between the two Davids - David Cook and David Archuleta. It’s anyones game at this point, but Cook has done some unforgettable performances.My favorite performance up to this point has been Cook’s rendition of Mariah Carey’s “Always Be My Baby.” I think the whole shock factor of him picking that song made it stand out. Mariah was even caught off guard by his choice.

“I was surprised that David chose ‘Always Be My Baby’ because I didn’t know what he was going to do with it. I thought he did something really different and it made me proud as a song writer like this song can stand the test of time.”For me, that was the defining performance and the point where David Cook tilt the scales in his favor of actually winning the whole thing. Not to mention the judges have been all over him since then.
