Cynthia Rodriguez Calls Husband A-Rod a Wimp!

Cynthia Rodriguez, the wife of New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, related the account of the birth of their first daughter, Natasha Alexander Rodriguez on Nov. 18, 2004. Cynthia gave her interview on YES Network’s “YESterdays” and it will air on Wednesday night of May 7, 2008.

Cynthia told the story of how Alex was so stressed up at the delivery of their firstborn that he needed more medical attention than her. Alex Rodriguez has been given the affectionate nickname of A-Rod. He arrived at Miami on April 21 to meet his second child, a newborn daughter, named as Ella Alexander Rodriguez.

A-Rod recounted how he met Cynthia at the gym way back in 1996. He revealed that he took 3 and a half weeks to summon up courage to approach her. More will be revealed in “YESterdays” soon."As tough and big as he seems, he is real wimpy around doctors or any type of medical situation," Cynthia Rodriguez said, according to excerpts released Tuesday by YES.
