Dennis Rodman Charged with Domestic Violence Against Gina Peterson

Dennis Rodman, 46, was arrested at a hotel April 30 after girlfriend Gina Peterson called hotel security and has formally been charged this morning.Prosecutors announced that they have charged former NBA star Dennis Rodman with domestic violence for allegedly hitting his girlfriend Gina Peterson multiple times during the altercation at the hotel.Gina reportedly received minor injuries to her arms during the altercation with the intoxicated Dennis Rodman.

Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman Nick Velasquez says Rodman was charged Wednesday with spousal battery, brandishing a deadly weapon, and one count of dissuading a witness. The charges were all misdemeanors.“We look forward to a successful resolution of this misdemeanor matter,” said Rodman’s attorney, Paul Meyer.In a statement released by Rodman’s spokesman Darren Prince, they claim that Rodman had had too much to drink when he got into an altercation with Peterson. Prince went on to mention that the couple are still dating.Dennis Rodman has since checked himself in to rehab for his drinking problem.
