Jason Castro In American Idol Top 4

Meet Jason Castro, American Idol’s Season 7 Top 4 contestant.Of late, though, his performances have been mediocre at best. He probably will be in the bottom two this week with Syesha, but he has been saved several times with the female crowd and teeny boppers voting him safe. Vote For The Worst wants everyone to vote for Jason as well.Jason Castro was born on March 25, 1987 in Dallas, Texas. His parents hail from Colombia and he is the first Castro to be born in the U.S. He is the oldest of three children in his family, younger brother Michael and younger sister Jackie round out their family.

Castro grew up in Rowlett, Texas and started playing the drums and guitar at a young age. Jason attended Rowlett High School and graduated in 2005. While there he was a member of the school’s soccer team.Jason went on to Texas A&M University and was a junior majoring in construction science when he auditioned for American Idol in Dallas. If he doesn’t win American Idol, it’s been reported that he will return to school. Jason played in a band - Keeping Lions and appeared on the MTV reality show, Cheyenne. He also appeared in her video for “Hangin’On”.
