Taylor Swift 2008 ACM Awards Performance

Taylor Swift’s performance at the 2008 Academy of County Music Awards (ACM) was unbelievable! She totally put a stamp on winning the Top New Female Vocalist.Taylor took the stage in jeans and a baggie hooded sweatshirt. With the lights low and the hood covering her face, she sat on a chair with her guitar and started singing “Should’ve Said No.” A little into the song, she stood up and two male dancers came out on either side of her ripping off her clothes and revealing a black dress. The performance was topped off with a curtain of rain dropping in the background spelling out the song. Taylor ended with going in the rain to sing the last few lines. A standing ovation followed and the next presenters, Brooks and Dunn, were speechless. I don’t even like country music and that girl brought the house down.
