Although Helen Mirren is fast approaching her 63rd birthday, her body is smoking hot. See pictures, video and biography here. While most women her age are covering it up at the beach, Mirren is showing it off.Yes, most women in their 60’s would be steering clear of bikinis. Dame Helen Mirren, however, has no reason not to show off her curves. She spends grueling hours in the gym in order to keep her body toned and in shape. In the photo above, she is seen vacationing in Italy with her husband, Taylor Hackford, 63.

Helen Mirren was born on July 26, 1945 in Chiswick, London, England, UK. Her age is 62 - soon to be 63. Her birth name was Ilyena Lydia Mironoff, and her nickname was “Popper.” Her father, Vasiliy Petrovich Mironov (1913-1980), was a Russian aristocrat, and her mother, Kathleen Alexandrina Eva Matilda (1909-1980), was English. Helen is 5′4″ tall. She has a younger brother and an older sister - both of whom are teachers. Helen attended St. Bernard’s High School for Girls in Westcliff-on-Sea where she had stage appearances. Her first starring role was in 1965 as Cleopatra for the National Youth Theater. She then joined the Royal Shakespeare Company, playing various roles. She went on the join other theater groups and to tour around the world - including North Africa and the United States.

Helen Mirren was romantically involved from 1981 to 1983 with actor Liam Neeson, who she met during the filming of “Excalibur.” She married husband, Taylor Hackford, on December 31, 1997. They have been together since 1986. It is her first marriage and his third. Although Hackford has children from his previous marriages, Helen has no children.In December of 2003, she was invested as a Dame Commandeer of the British Empire.

Helen Mirren has proven her versatility and range in a series of consistently challenging parts - beginning with her days with the National Youth Theater and the Royal Shakespeare Company and continuing to the present time.Some of her more popular roles are those of Lilia in “Where Angels Fear to Tread” (1991), as Mrs. King in “The Madness of King George” (1994) - for which she received a Supporting Actress Oscar nomination - and as a tough police inspector in the British miniseries “Prime Suspect” (1992). She has won many awards, including an Academy Award, four SAG Awards, Golden Globes and Emmy Awards during her career.
