Jennifer Lopez to Star in New Film

Dancer, singer, and sometimes actress, Jennifer Lopez is taking a break from being a new mom in order to star in an upcoming film entitled, “The Governess.”Jennifer Lopez is set to star in this new film that will be released December of 2009. Her last film, with co-star and husband Marc Anthony, was “El Cantante,” which did not perform well at the box office.

“The Governess,” not to be confused with the 1998 Minnie Driver film of the same name, is described as a romantic comedy. The official blurb about the plot is as follows:The story centers on a professional thief who, in order to pull off a major bank heist, poses as a nanny to the three unruly children of a wealthy widower. When she starts to fall for the kids and their father, she must decide if she can give up her past for a chance to start over.I’m curious to see how it turns out. Through the years, Jennifer Lopez has had her share of cinematic hits and misses. The role that I appreciated the most was in the very strange film, “The Cell,” opposite Vince Vaughn and Vincent D’onofrio, who was absolutely brilliant in his part.
