Peggy Fossett Is Steve Fossett’s Wife

Peggy Fossett and Steve Fossett
Peggy Fossett, the wife of adventurer, Steve Fossett, who mysteriously disappeared last September while flying over Nevada. She is in the news today because of allegations that suggest Steve may have faked his own death.Peggy and Steve Fossett are in the news again today after the U.S military is bringing forth allegations which suggest that Steve may have faked his own death. According to Gawker, the investigation of Steve’s death has brought forth a series of concerns and suspicious revelations about the circumstances of Steve’s disappearance. These suspicious circumstances include: allegations of an affair, suggesting that Fossett lead a double life and had two mistresses. An unusual choice of plane; Steve borrowed a light stunt aircraft, which can easily be dismantled. This is unusual because Steve did not like this type of plane. Also, Steve did not have an emergency kit. With years of flying experience and hot air balloon adventures, Fossett took this trip without a parachute or global positioning watch.

Millions of dollars and hundreds of people have been involved in the search for Steve Fossett, but not even the plane has been recovered. This is also very suspicious. Lt. Col Ryan, who has been working closely on the investigation said,“I’ve been doing this search and rescue for 14 years. Fossett SHOULD have been found. It’s not like we didn’t have our eyes open. We found SIX other planes while we were looking for him. We’re pretty good at what we do.”The Lt. also confirmed that Fossett was cheating on his wife Peggy Fossett, adding that he may have faked his death to avoid a multi-million-divorce settlement.

Peggy Fossett Viehland is from Richmond Heights, Missouri. She married Steve Fossett in 1968, but they never had any children. The couple had homes in Beaver Creek, Colorado as well as in Carmel, California. Peggy Fossett and her husband became well known in the United Kingdom, as they were friends with Virgin billionaire, Richard Branson. Branson and Fossett had a passion for adventure and met on a hot air balloon race. Branson even financed some of Steve’s extreme adventures. When asked about the suspicious circumstances of Fossett’s disappearance Sir Richard said he didn’t believe the reports.“I think its absolute crap. I wish it was true but it isn’t. I wish he was in South America with some beautiful girls but he isn’t. What did he have to gain? His poor wife has inherited all his money. And any insurance has gone to her. Its just not true.”
