Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader Premieres

Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? That's what will be asked to a slew of brand new special celebrity contestants in the upcoming fall television season. Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader has more and more relied on their celebrity weeks to increase ratings and pique fan interest. Today, FOX announced their newest batch of celebrity contestants, and they range from a former Nobel laureate to an ex-supermodel. Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader premieres Friday, September 5 with a special two-hour episode.

The first episode of the season will see former supermodel Kathy Ireland face off against a brand-new batch of fifth graders. The same episode will also feature Georgia State superintendent Kathy Cox trying her hand at conquering the fifth graders.The celebrities, as always, will play for charities.
