Michael Skakel, Nephew of Robert F. Kennedy Wants Re-trial

Michael Skakel is a nephew of Robert F. Kennedy and Ethel Kennedy. Michael Skakel is also a convicted murderer. Michael Skakel claimed he is innocent and works to overturn his conviction in 2002.Michael Skakel was convicted of killing Martha Moxley, 33 years ago. Michael Skakel was Moxley’s neighbor. Moxley was found hammered to death with a club on Oct. 31, 1975.

“48 Hours Mystery” has a new 1 hour episode on a videotaped depositition by Michael Skakel’s ex classmate, Gitano “Tony” Bryant. Gitano “Tony” Bryant, of Brunswick School, claimed that 2 Bronx, New York teenagers confessed to him that they murdered Martha Moxley. Michael Skakel has 2 pending appeals to overturn his conviction.Gitano “Tony” Bryant alleged that his friends Adolph Hasbrouck and Burt Tinsley were in the Belle Haven neighborhood on the night Martha Moxley was killed. Gitano “Tony” Bryant claimed the 2 teens told him they had golf clubs and threatened “to go caveman” on Martha Moxley. The tape on Gitano “Tony” Bryant’s confession was made in 2003. Michael Skakel’s lawyer, Hope Seeley, said that Bryant’s statement is new evidence that merits a new trial.However, Gitano “Tony” Bryant’s testimony could not be verified. Nobody saw Adolph Hasbrouck, Burt Tinsley in the Belle Haven neighborhood.
