Sarah Palin as his running mate Friday, a striking selection that he hopes will boost his support among women and evangelical Christians.Palin is a reform-minded conservative governor, a moose-burger-eating former small town mayor, a 1984 Miss Alaska runner-up, a "hockey mom" and an abortion foe who gave birth to her fifth child in April after learning from a prenatal test that he would have Down syndrome.At a rally in Ohio on Friday, she made clear her role on the ticket by praising Sen.
