Jessica Capshaw was born on August 9, 1976 in Columbia, Missouri, so her age is 32. She is the daughter of actress Kate Capshaw and Bob Capshaw. Jessica’s parents divorced when she was 3 years old. She became the stepdaughter of Steven Spielberg when she was 15.Jessica attended Harvard-Westlake School and graduated in 1994. She went on to Brown University, where she received a degree in English in 1998. She soon moved to London, where she took acting classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Jessica’s first foray into acting was when she appeared in The Locusts in 1997. She has gone on to appear in TV and film, most notably Minority Report, The Practice, Bones and The L Word.She has been married to Christopher Gavigan since May of 2004. Together they have a son, Luke, who was born in September 2007.
