Katt Williams Plane Crash Death :Rumor Or True?

A hot rumor today has comedian, rapper, and actor Katt Williams being killed in a plane crash.The rumor seems to have started with a viral text message saying Williams died at 4 am on November 1, 2008, and forwarded on from there. At the time of writing, there has been no official confirmation or denial of the rumor, and his Wikipedia entry includes the line “Although no official word has been released, it seems to have been a hoax or a publicity stunt.”Given the number of people on Yahoo Answers that are claiming to have received the text message, it sounds like a 4chan or similar stunt at this stage.
