Prophet Kim Clement Predicted Obama Will Win

On the whole I get surprisingly little negative email here. That is probably because God sends people to this site who have eyes to see and ears to hear the truth about the great apostasy presently under way in the visible church. I know from my own experience that those who are deceived by the false teachers tend to avoid sites like mine that might challenge their most deeply held beliefs.
The vast majority of the negative email I do get, however, is in defense of Kim Clement. I am amazed at the number of people who feel the need to defend this man. My exposure of him seems to offend a great many people.
It is funny (funny sad, not funny ha-ha) that so many of these critical emails sound the same. Almost invariably they start off by saying ‘I don’t know God’s word as well as you do but……..”. No kidding! If you knew God’s word you wouldn’t be so easily swayed by an obvious heretic like Clement. Then they go on to use the same old rationalizations that have been used for thousands of years to defend false prophets. With that in mind I would like to lay out the most basic reason for opposing Kim Clement and his ministry.
The first thing I want everyone to understand is that I consider Kim Clement to be a false prophet not because of his lack of prophetic accuracy. He is about as accurate as your average tabloid psychic but that by itself does not make him a false prophet.
Kim Clement is a false prophet because he preaches a false gospel!
Here is a portion of an interview with Clement by Matt Crouch on Praise The Lord (TBN), February 4, 1997.
” The church, with its prophetic mantle can actually win a lot more people to the Lord because of the idea that we are presenting right now, and that is that every one of you were born and formed and sent upon by God for something great. The prophetic makes you aware of something that is already present in you that you’ve not seen……. Everyone that’s born, God has placed something special inside. It’s our responsibility as preachers of the New Millennium to bring out the treasure that’s already there……….. I’m telling you there’s going to be some ignoramuses coming to meetings, into our meetings, the New Millennium church, that’s not focusing on the sin and trying to force them to repent and make them afraid because they’re going to go to hell, and they’re going to discover ‘there’s a glory, there’s a beauty inside of me’ that only Christ can bring out by the power of His breath and His resurrection. And that’s what way the church is going.
