Riley Fox On ABC's 20/20

ABC's 20/20 will explore the possibilities today at 9 p.m. on Channel 7.A 20/20 reporting team descended on the quiet river town of Wilmington last summer bent on exploring the 2004 murder of Kevin an Melissa Fox's daughter Riley. Kevin Fox was arrested for allegedly killing his daughter, but the charges were later dropped.The Foxes sued several of the Will County sheriff's detectives who had secured his confession to the crime. Last December a jury awarded Fox and his wife $15 million in damages.

In the summer of 2004, a little girl named Riley Fox was abducted and murdered in the small town of Wilmington, Ill., about 60 miles southwest of Chicago. It was a gruesome crime that rocked the Rust Belt community and remains a mystery to this day.
