Shania Twain Presented Entertainer of The Year At CMA Awards 2008
Shania Twain presented the CMA Award for entertainer of the year on Wednesday night (Nov. 12) in Nashville, marking her first U.S. television appearance since she separated from her husband, songwriter-record producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, in May. The audience greeted her with a standing ovation. "It's good to see all of you, too," she said. "I hope to be seeing a lot more of you." She has reportedly been writing songs for a new album. Up!, her last album of all-new music, was released in 2002. Twain won the CMA's entertainer of the year trophy in 1999 -- her only CMA Award. Twain presented this year's award to Kenny Chesney.
