Star magazine is reporting that:“They are talking about settling down and getting married in a year. They have had a bit of a crazy year, but they do love each other and she wants to be his wife.”

The pair was recently spotted being very romantic with each other throughout dinner at exclusive California eatery Primitivo, where she was seen wearing expensive jewelry given to her by Orlando. The sparkley collection did not include a ring. It’s reported that he recently plopped down $2000 at an auction for jewelry for her, and he’s asking that she not wear anything given to her from previous suitors. The couple has been linked together since October 2007.

Raised in Gunnedah, New South Wales, a small rural town, the brown hair and blue eyed beauty grew up with her younger brother Matthew racing motorbikes and riding horses on her grandma’s farm. Her family eventually moved to Brisbane so she and her brother could experience city life, where Miranda graduated from high school and planned to pursue studies in nutrition.

Miranda Kerr was propelled into the modeling world in 1997 when she won a contest hosted by Dolly Magazine and Impulse fragrances. She was only 13 at the time, which stirred up media controversy over her young age. She continued to model and towards the end of high school she signed on with Chic Management Sydney Division, which gave her lots of commercial exposure through campaigns for companies such as Billabong. All these lucrative deals landed her at #10 on the 2008 Forbes list of top earning models.Expanding from modeling, she, along with other Victoria’s Secret angels, has appeared in Kanye West and Pharrell’s video for Number One, and had a small guest spot on CBS’s How I Met Your Mother.

Personally, Miranda Kerr was engaged to finance broker Adrian Camilleri. He was found guilty on five counts of fraud, and she broke off her engagement with him in 2004. She practices Nichiren Buddhism, and began dating actor Orlando Bloom, who is also a Buddhist, late in 2007. Current reports say the couple is engaged.
