Dwayne Johnson (formerly The Rock) hosted the Nick KCA awards.

Jonas Brothers were also winners of the Favorite Musical Group Award, winning against contenders Daughtry, Linkin Park and Pussycat Dolls (who also performed live at the ceremony; see the Pussycat Doll KCA 2009 video here.)SOS is the second single from Jonas Brothers’ self-titled sophomore studio album and Burnin’ Up is the lead single from their third studio album, A Little Bit Longer.

In addition to their North American tour, which kicks off June 20, 2009 in Texas, Jonas Brothers have also recently announced their European tour dates. Supporting act on the tour will be former American Idol Jordin Sparks. A forthcoming album will reportedly be released sometime during the summer with a possible release date of June 15, 2009 and tentative title Lines, Vines and Trying Times.
