Britney Spears has denied she is pregnant with her third child after a DJ made the announcement live on air.Ryan Seacrest, who also hosts American Idol, revealed that he had been told by a ‘reliable source’ that the singer was preparing for a new arrival.But Britney’s spokesman Adam Leber has insisted there is no truth to the story. She's absolutely not pregnant. I have no idea where this ridiculous rumour came from,' he told US celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

‘Ryan has communication with our camp and could have checked this before saying it.’Industry sources have been left baffled by the row as Ryan, 34, and Britney, 27,are thought to be close.‘Ryan and Britney are friends. He wouldn’t have said something like that unless he knew the truth,’ a source close to Ryan is quoted as saying.

He had earlier posted a message on Twitter saying: 'I heard a rumor about Brit that I want to investigate before I give more deets!'The mother-of-two has been plagued by pregnancy rumours since her well-documented breakdown last year.Britney, who has two children Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2, from her marriage to Kevin Federline, is thought to be dating her backing dancer Chase Benz.
