Meet Claire Sweeney, TV presenter.Claire Sweeney, 37, is in the news today because she was on Channel Five’s The Wright Stuff and alleged that former U.S. President Bill Clinton, 62, made flirtatious remarks to her at an unspecified time when he was still President.According to her allegations, she was at a party in Russia, hosted by Cliff Richard. Claire Sweeney was at the party with her boyfriend at that time, businessman Tony Hibbard. She says that then President Bill Clinton, who was dressed as an admiral, approached her at the party. She says she was wearing a ‘ Dangerous Liaisons-style outfit.’

According to the Daily Mail which recounts her statements in the interview, she said she thought to herself, ‘You dirty dog.’ She then says that Clinton’s body guard approached him and said, ‘Mr President, we need to go.’She then says that Clinton left the bodyguard and returned to her.She says she told him: ‘You don’t want to go, do you?’ to which he replied, ‘How can you tell?”She told him, ‘Because your left leg is dancing.’

Sweeney alleges that Clinton then replied, ‘My middle leg will be dancing soon!’On the program as she was recounting the event, Sweeney said, ‘I shook his hand but decided I was going home with a clean dress that night!’Claire Sweeney was born on April 17, 1971 in Walton, Liverpool, England so her age is 37. Her measurements are 34-27-37 and she is 5′8 tall. Her full name is Claire Jane Sweeney.

Sweeney studied at the Elliott-Clarke Theatre School in Liverpool, and the Italia Conti Academy in London. When she was 14 she began her professional singing career at the Montrose Club in Liverpool. While still in school, she took part in the Southport Summer Youth Theatre Workshop’s production of the musical Hair in 1987.

In 1991, Claire Sweeney first appeared in the TV soap opera Brookside, in the minor role of Lindsey Corkhill. She later returned to the show, reprising the same role as a major character. She remained on the show until it ended in 2003. Since the end of Brookside she has appeared in numerous theater productions including starring as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago in London and the leading role in the world tour of Fosse. She also costarred with Patrick Swayze in the musical Guys and Dolls and later, Shout!

As a singer, she released her debut album, Claire, in 2002, which included both covers and original songs. The album saw moderate success, reaching the UK Top 20.Claire Sweeney has been a TV presenter for several programs including, Challenge of a Lifetime, I’m famous…and frightened!, A Song for Europe and 60 Minute Makeover and Chef vs Britain. She is also a panelist on Loose Women.

She released a fitness DVD in 2005, Claire Sweeney: The Perfect Fit with Weight Watchers was released.She is also known for an ITV1 documentary Claire Sweeney – My Big Fat Diet, in which she abandoned healthy eating and dramatically gained weight to show the effects of overweight on health.
