Here is a photo of Steve McNair’s wife, Mechelle Cartwright (aka Mechelle or Michelle McNair). McNair’s wife allegedly did not know about her husband’s affair with Sahel Kazemi, 20, broke first on LALATE Saturday afternoon.Sahel Kazemi was dating Steve McNair, despite his marriage to Mechelle Cartwright.

A new report in New York Daily News has a source close to Mechelle claiming she didn’t know about the affair, “she’s blindsided” by it and “crushed”. Kazemi’s sister, Soheyla Kazemi, tells The Florida Times-Union of Jacksonville that Sahel believed McNair and her were set to marry.

Keith Norfleet, Kazemi’s ex boyfriend, says Kazemi told him that she was dating McNair. Keith says Sahel was raised by her sister after her mother, born in Iran, was murdered when Sahel was just 9 years old. He says the 20 year old, originally from Jacksonville, had a kind heart: “She is the sweetest girl, and she did not deserve this.”

McNair was found dead on a sofa in the condo he rented. McNair had multiple gun shots, and one to the head.Somewhere else in the condo (location not yet specified) was found dead Kazemi with a single shot to the head, the gun located near her body.

Reports say Kazemi had a new black Cadillac Escalade that he bought and registered to both their names. Two days before her death she was arrested for DUI in the SUV. McNair posted her bail. A friend tells press that Sahel Kazemi this week said McNair was dating her after meeting her as a waitress at Dave & Busters.
