Ashley Alexandra Dupre Sues Joe Francis

Ashley Alexandra Dupre just can’t stay out of the news, or legal matters. It was only a month ago that Ashley became known as the governor’s call girl after New York Governor Elliot Spitzer was found to be involved in a high-priced prostitution ring. Then some nude photos surfaced of her, but apparently she is not ok with ALL nude photos.

Dupre is suing Joe Francis and Girls Gone Wild for $10 million. The video company has some footage of Dupre taking her top off, like so many other girls before her. But she argues that she was 17 at the time she signed the release, so it’s not valid. A lawyer adds that Ashley “did not understand the magnitude of her actions.” Dupre alleges that while in Miami Beach, producers approached her, gave her alcohol, persuaded her to take her shirt off, and made her sign a release. Apparently she filmed seven full-length tapes with Girls Gone Wild.

The interesting twist to this story: Francis had been in talks with Dupre when her first nude photos surfaced to have her pose in Girls Gone Wild magazine for $1 million. When he realized he already had footage of the governor’s girl, the deal fell through. So now she wants $10 million instead.When asked for comment, Joe Francis told CNN,“But I think it’s ironic that she charged Gov. Spitzer $2,000 for sex and she wants to charge me 10 million for taking some naked pictures of her. I feel like I’m getting a raw deal.”
