Emilio Diaz Is Dead

Emilio Diaz, Cameron Diaz’s father, has died. He passed away on April 15, 2008, from complications with pneumonia. The death was sudden and unexpected, as sources say Emilio was in “terrific health”.Emilio Diaz was only 58 years old and living in Seal Beach, California, at the time of his death. He was a second-generation Cuban-American who worked as a foreman for an oil company. Emilio came down with the flu, which later turned into pneumonia.

Cameron Diaz was working on the set of her latest movie, “My Sister’s Keeper”. The film has continued production while Cameron is away, filming scenes in which Cameron does not appear.Our thoughts go out to Cameron and her family.
