Jennifer Widerstrom Appears On American Gladiators
"American Gladiators" makes its return to NBC for its second season on Monday. The show will begin at 8pm EST and will last for two hours.Laila Ali and Hulk Hogan will return to co-host the program.The classic "American Gladiators" events will return, such as Assault, Eliminator, Gauntlet, Hang Tough, Joust, Powerball, Pyramid and The Wall. However, there are new two new events: Earthquake and Hit & Run.
Fans will get a chance to see several of their favorite Gladiators this 2008 season, such as Jennifer Widerstrom (Phoenix), Gina Carano (Crush), and Beth Horn (Venom)."American Gladiators" will be followed by "Medium", which will start at 10pm ET.Hulk Hogan, host of AG, spoke of the upcoming season:“Season 2 of American Gladiators is going to be bigger and badder than before! We have new gladiators, new events and a new gladiator arena. All those gladiator maniacs out there are going to be blown away,” he said.
Jennifer is 25 years old. She is from Lisle, Illinois. She attended Naperville North High School and competed in several gymnastic meets. She lettered all four years in track and gymnastics. She lettered two years in diving as well.During her college years at the University of Kansas, she was a track and field star, whose specialty was the hammer throw. She was chosen first team Big 12 all conference for the years 2003 through 2005. She was also chosen to the conference’s all-academic team, and majored in Sports and Fitness Management.
