Jessica Simpson “Come On Over” Video

The first single from Jessica Simpson’s new country album has been leaked and it sounds pretty good. Although I don’t really dig country music, this is definitely the genre that suits Jessica the best. The single “Come On Over,” takes Jessica back to her Texas roots, and she drew her inspirations from Martina McBride, Shania Twain, Faith Hill and Reba McEntire.

She says,“I think there is a strength in female country artists…..I am a country girl,” she told Billboard of recording. “I grew up in Texas, and country music was what I listened to. I always wanted to make a country album, but I wanted to wait until the time was right.”Jessica Simpson’s country album is confirmed to be released later this year, by Columbia Nashville.
