Cheyenne Nichole Kimball was born on July 27, 1990, and so her age is 18 years. She was born in Frisco, Texas. She sings, writes songs and plays the guitar. When Cheyenne was seven years old her parents bought her a guitar. The go-get-em teen immediately taught herself to play it. She wrote her first song, “All I Want Is You,” when she was only eight years old. The inspiration for her first song was being sent to her room for being mean to her older sister.
“I remember writing it and hoping it would get me out of trouble,” she recalls. “I haven’t stopped writing songs or getting into trouble since.” Cheyenne Kimball is 5′3″, has long blond hair, and she plays the guitar left-handed. Both her parents are personal trainers.Cheyenne Kimball continued to spread her musical wings. At the age of nine she entered a talent night at club . . . without getting her parent’s permission. Mom and Dad Kimball were not happy but when Cheyenne took to the stage, they realized that she was good. Very good. Cheyenne’s mom, Shannon, because her manager. Although Cheyenne has grown up fast, her parents have made it a priority to keep her emotionally grounded and give her time to mature as a person.
Cheyenne was a prolific songwriter - writing almost 200 songs by the time she was twelve. She was also performing as much as possible. At 12, she won the title of “America’s Most Talented Kid” on the NBC show. And then Sony/Epic Records signed her to a multi-record deal. That was the beginning of more than three years of traveling and working with some of the most successful songwriters in rock music. Her first album was “The Day Has Come” that included twelve of her songs.
Once “The Day Has Come” was finished and released in 2006, Cheyenne and her family moved to Los Angeles in order for Cheyenne to rehearse for her summer tour. MTV began filming the move for a reality show called “Cheyenne” which they were filming to document her drive to succeed as a songwriter and as a singer. The show premiered in May 2006. Cheyenne performed in the 2006 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in which she sang “Four Walls.” She also appeared at the Pro Bowl on February 10, 2007.
