In romantic relationships, if one or both lovers want a break, there is a small window of time for reconciliation. If that window closes because, well, one or both find someone or something else, that's an understood consequence.This is what it feels like watching the fifth-season return of HBO's critically acclaimed comedy "Entourage," which limps back into primetime Sunday night. It feels like we the viewers were on "a break" and that at any moment, the reconciliation window was going to close. But thanks to a little creative storytelling, falling back in love with this show is not out of the question.

Waylaid by the writers strike, this inside-Hollywood series has a lot of work to do to win back its fans -- and apparently, even its network. HBO seems to be less interested in this former premium-cable darling, and is instead focusing all of its marketing energy, muscle and money into its new vampire plaything "True Blood," which premieres Sunday
