Not content with her many careers as a presenter, model, author, designer and musician in the UK, Myleene Klass is expanding her empire into the US.The 31-year-old made her TV debut there last night co-hosting the American version of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!The show is a fitting choice to launch Myleene's career Stateside because she relaunched her own in Britain thanks to her white bikini on the 2006 series.

In Cannes last month, Myleene reportedly signed a £100,000 last-minute deal to host the show from the Costa Rican jungle.She co-hosts the NBC reality show alongside American presenter Damien Fahey, best known for hosting MTV Total Request Live.In last night's series premiere, Myleene flew the flag for British fashion in a £110 blue French Connection one-shouldered mini-dress as she introduced herself to American viewers.

Amongst the celebrities living in the Costa Rican jungle former supermodel Janice Dickinson, Lou Diamond Phillips and Stephen Baldwin.In the opening episode, pampered reality TV couple Heidi and her new husband Spencer threatened to quit the show twice after being horrified by their basic living conditions.

Spencer phoned NBC chairman Ben Silverman complaining: 'We're too rich and too famous to be sitting with these people in the jungle. This cast is devaluing our fame.'The Hills pair walked off the show just after the live episode, according to reports.In spite of her experience in front of the cameras, US critics are yet to warm to Myleene's performance.
