Dane Cook doesn't like the poster for his new movie! And to be fair to the unfunny and petulant comedian, it is terrible. The average heterosexual male would decline to see this movie based solely on the poster, even without knowing Dane Cook was in it. But the average heterosexual male who found themselves living Dane Cook's life would probably let it slide, secure in the thought that despite being (probably) Tucker Max's favorite entertainer, he was starring in movies with Kate Hudson and had a stable of college groupies. Dane Cook, however, took to his MySpace page with a 10-point letter of complaint about how the poster makes him look.

Rumer Willis Is Army Wives Star

Rumer Willis has been tapped to star in an upcoming episode of the hit Lifetime series, Army Wives.Rumer Willis will appear on the small screen in Lifetime’s hit drama, Army Wives. She will play the wife of a soldier who is injured in Iraq. It’s a one episode gig, and it will air on October 12th.
Rumer, the oldest daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, is becoming quite the busy bee these days. Her movie, House Bunny, which she co-stars with Anna Faris, premiered last week and debuted at the No. 2 spot, behind Tropic Thunder.

According to imdb, she appears in the movie Whore, which is scheduled for an October 2008 release date, and also stars in Wild Cherry, which will release in 2009.She was recently named Miss Golden Globe (an honor usually bestowed upon an offspring of a famous star), with the 66th Annual Golden Globes Awards ceremony set for January 11, 2009.

Jerry Lewis Telethon

The Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon is a yearly Labor Day Weekend event - lasting 21 1/2 hours on August 31 - September 1.The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon was first broadcast in 1966 by only one television station in New York City. However, thanks to Jerry Lewis’ quirky humor and sensitivity in speaking with children and adults dealing with muscular dystrophy, the unique event quickly caught the public’s eye and ended up raising more than a million dollars. Over its 42-years-and-counting run, it has gained momentum, and this year it will be broadcast on 180 stations across the country. This year’s show will feature an online auction which started on August 21st and includes items donated by celebrities, MDA sponsors and others. Items such as travel, unique experiences, electronics, golf, excursion, and sport memorabilia will be up for bid. The auction will end on September 4th.

Ten years ago, in 1998, the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon was the first telethon seen around the world via an Internet simulcast. However, it was an “interactive” show from the beginning with guests appearing on the shows, and phone calls taken during the show. One staple of the show is the “tote board” where the running total is kept throughout the show each year. Each year the goal is to raise more than the previous year. In 2007, the total was $63.8 million.

Police were called, and the twins were arrested on public disorder offences. Let’s hope Francine and Nicola Gleadall’s second shot at fame is a more peaceful one.

Victoria and David Beckham are reminding us that they are the sexiest couple in Hollywood right now. The two lovebirds heat things up in the commercial for their latest his and hers fragrance, Signature. The commercial is edgy and sexy, but not over the top.As for the launch for Signature, Victoria decided to unveil the new perfume in Manchester, where she met her famous soccer player husband. It was originally to be launched in London, but Posh decided against it. She said,

“It was meant to be in London but I said no, I said please can I go to Manchester instead? I love Manchester, it’s got a really good feel to it. So I thought why not - I usually spend a lot of time in London. I’m really excited about coming back because, of course, it’s where I met David.”Victoria looked amazing for the launch of Signature, held at Harvey Nichols department store. The Spice Girl was quite posh, wearing a figure-hugging white dress and silver heels.

Bristol Palin is Sarah Palin’s Daughter

Rumors are flying that Bristol Palin, Sarah Palin’s teen-age daughter, is the real mother of 5-month old Trig Palin. Did Sarah Palin invent an elaborate cover-up to keep her daughter’s pregnancy out of the public eye?So, is Trig really Sarah Palin’s baby, or is he her grandson? People are asking that question and are pushing for an answer. Most of the questions center around the fact that Sarah Palin didn’t announce her pregnancy until a few weeks before she gave birth. The story is further complicated in that Bristol was taken out of school this past year for up to five months because of a bad case of mono.

What do you think? I doubt that someone as politically savvy as Sarah Palin would be so naive as to believe she could keep such a monumental cover-up secret while running as VP of the USA. And why would she attempt the cover-up to begin with? Teenage pregnancies are a rather common fact of life in modern society. The “shame and disgrace” that people felt years ago are mostly nonexistent these days. I hope the Palin’s will provide proof that Trig is their own quickly in order to counter these rumors. And, if the rumors are true, then handle them immediately in order to end all the speculating.

Gitano “Tony” Bryant claimed the 2 teens told him they had golf clubs and threatened “to go caveman” on Martha Moxley. The tape on Gitano “Tony” Bryant’s confession was made in 2003. Michael Skakel’s lawyer, Hope Seeley, said that Bryant’s statement is new evidence that merits a new trial.However, Gitano “Tony” Bryant’s testimony could not be verified. DNA Evidence Links Man to Slaying of Kutcher's Ex Ashley Ellerin

DNA evidence has linked an air conditioning repairman to the stabbing deaths of three women, including a former girlfriend of actor Ashton Kutcher, police said Friday.Michael Gargiulo, 32, of Santa Monica has been in custody since July for a separate knife attack and could face murder charges as soon as next week, police said.Santa Monica police Lt. Darrell Lowe said DNA collected from a crime scene last spring helped link Gargiulo to the stabbing deaths of women from Los Angeles, suburban Chicago and Monterey Park.

One of the cases involves 22-year-old Ashley Ellerin, Kutcher's former girlfriend, who was found dead in February 2001 in her Hollywood Hills home.Kutcher, who starred in the television series "That '70s Show" and is married to actress Demi Moore, told police he went to pick up the fashion student-model for a post-Grammy Awards party, but she did not answer the door. He checked a back window and spotted what he thought were red wine stains on the carpet and then left. Her body was discovered the next day by a friend.

Kutcher's agent, Stephanie Simon, said the actor had no comment.Police said they have a DNA match that links Gargiulo to another fatal stabbing of a Monterey Park woman in 2005. They also suspect Gargiulo in the 1993 killing of a high school girl in the Chicago suburb of Glenview, where Gargiulo lived at the time. Tricia Pacaccio, a senior at Glenbrook South High School, was found stabbed to death on her front doorstep, clutching her door key.

Gargiulo was being held in lieu of $1.1 million bail on attempted murder and burglary charges stemming from the April 28 stabbing of a Santa Monica woman in her home, Lowe said. Detectives matched a DNA sample taken from blood at the crime scene to Gargiulo. Lowe said further database cross-referencing found that Gargiulio's DNA matched genetic evidence in the three killings.

Casey Anthony Arrested Again!

Casey Anthony, the mother of missing Florida toddler Caylee Anthony, was arrested again and charged Friday with forgery, fraudulent use of personal information and petty theft, the Orange County Sheriff's Department said.The charges relate to Casey Anthony's use of "some monies and checks in an account that did not belong to her and she knew that," Orange County Capt. Angelo Nieves said.

Orange County Sheriff's Department officers ushered a handcuffed Anthony through a crowd of protesters that had gathered outside her parents' Orlando home.The protesters cheered as Anthony as she was led away in front of them. She has been out on bail after being charged with child neglect, making false official statements and obstructing a criminal investigation into her daughter's disappearance.

Anthony reported her 3-year-year old daughter missing in July, 31 days after anyone saw the child and only after her mother called 911 to report her missing.Just this week police said DNA evidence suggested that a strand of hair in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car was Caylee's and that there was evidence of decomposition.

Todd Palin is Sarah Palin’s Husband

Meet Todd Palin, the husband of nominated Vice President Sarah Palin.He became Sarah Palin’s husband on August 29th, 1988, so for 20 years they have nourished what is by all accounts a loving, terrific relationship as husband and wife. Todd’s anniversary is the very day that his wife was named as the running mate for Senator John McCain. He has a very colorful background.To further his biography, Todd is 44 years old. He eloped with Sarah right after she graduated from college 20 years ago when he was 24. The couple did not realize they needed a witness for a wedding, so they recruited two seniors from a retirement home next to the justice of the peace.

Todd is a world-class snowmobiler. He has won the Iron Dog snowmachine race three times, count ‘em three times. It is a 2,000 mile endurance race in Alaska similar to the Ideterod. We may need to get use to some interesting terminology unique to Alaska! That includes the ethnic term Yup’ik. He is 1/8th part Alaskan native American, although not technically Eskimo.

As a career he has worked the North Slope oil fields as a production engineer. During the summer he is a fisherman near the family’s hometown of Wasilla, Alaska.That includes the word Yup’ik, which is Todd’s 1/8th ethnicity. He is part eskimo.The first husband’s interests include fly-fishing, coaching hockey and basketball, and helping raise the babies of a busy first lady.

O.J. Simpson’s Daughter Knocks Him Out

Cops rushed to the Florida home of O.J. Simpson after his eldest daughter knocked him to the ground in a brawl over his girlfriend Christie Prody.A source told the Daily News:“Arnelle had a fight with Christie over Christie’s behavior. That’s what started the whole thing.Christie has some problems with drinking, and Arnelle got mad. O.J. said ‘Don’t talk to her like that,’ and Arnelle pushed him.”The source said Arnelle, 39, called 911 in a fit of guilt after she toppled the 61-year-old on Sunday, giving him a minor head injury.

The police report does not mention O.J.’s fall, but the National Enquirer, which first reported the row, quoted a source saying O.J. was, “cut on the back of his head, blood was coming out the side of his mouth and his lip was cut.”The Enquirer said Arnelle was furious with O.J. for dishing out money to Prody, 32, while his high school sweetheart - Arnelle’s mom, Marguerite Whitley - has to work at WalMart to make ends meet.

Arnelle also lashed out at OJ for “ditching” Whitley to marry Nicole Brown Simpson, the Enquirer reported. O.J. was acquitted of Nicole’s murder in 1995. Two years later, a civil jury found him “responsible” for the killing.“It wasn’t a big deal,” the source said of Sunday’s scuffle. “He wasn’t all cut up.”The police report says the altercation ended when Arnelle agreed to leave O.J.’s house “in order to let things calm down.”

Andre Young Jr., Son Of Dr. Dre Found Dead

Andre Romelle Young Jr., the 20-year-old son of Dr. Dre, was found dead in his home Saturday morning.According to reports Andre Young Jr. had gone out with his friends the previous night. His mother heard him return to his home in Woodland Hills, California around 5:30 am, but when she went to wake him up five hours later, she found him unresponsive. Paramedics were called, but efforts to revive him were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy was conducted, however the cause of death has yet to be determined, and is pending the results of the toxicology report. The coroner’s rep confirmed the passing of Andre Young Jr. on Saturday, but could not confirm that is was Dr. Dre’s son. This morning a spokesperson for Dr. Dre confirmed the sad news and released the following statement;“Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr. Please respect his family’s grief and privacy at this time.”Our condolences to Dr. Dre and his family.

A California firm claims she got her ideas for hair care products from them.Kate Hudson has been sued by a firm that claims that she and hair stylist-to-the-stars David Babaii developed hair care products using volcanic ash based on the firm’s ideas.“Without merit” is how both Kate Hudson and David Babaii responded via their representatives to the lawsuit. The lawsuit was filed by 220 Laboratories, Inc., a California corporation.220 Laboratories claim that the company had an “oral contract” with Babaii to develop and manufacture hair care products in 2006. Their plan was to use volcanic ash from the Vanuatu Islands of the South Pacific in their products. However, instead of working with 220 Laboratories, David Babaii used a company called Universal Packaging Systems Inc. to develop the products - which, of course, use volcanic ash.

In an interview with Vogue magazine in 2007, Kate Hudson said she was one of the developers of “David Babaii for WildAid” - the hair care products company in which she and Babaii are partners. The company donates ten percent of profits to WildAid, a wildlife conservation group.Sounds like a “he said - she said” situation. A verbal contract is hard to prove. Weeds Season 4 Episode 11 - Head Cheese

Nancy must deal with the aftermath of Shane's exploits with his two new "friends". At 13 years old, Shane has entered a world Nancy is not ready to accept. She is still suffering from side effects from last week's "Ayuasca trip", that helped her calm her migraine headache. And to top it all off, she has another confrontation with Guillermo over what's coming and going through the tunnel.

Celia's struggles with her rehab partner, Barry, who has managed to sneak some "blow" into the rehab center. After the administration learns Celia used a phoney insurance policy to gain admittance to the facility, she is forced to move to a new rehab center.Doug and Maria's relationship quickly goes south and they both turn to Andy for help. Doug - being a "typical" man - expects immediate sex from Maria, while Maria has fantasies of Doug "wooing" her.Meanwhile, Silas's "cheese sandwich" business has grown too big, forcing him to turn to Nancy for financial backing. The "head cheese" sandwich has become a big seller in Ren Mar.

Dancing With The Stars" - New Cast Season 7 Revealed!

ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" has become famous for its cast of once-famous stars and their hot-bodied dancing partners, the beautiful and provocatively sexy costumes, and the actual and nearly/almost wardrobe malfunctions that come with the territory of fast moving, scantily clad bodies. They have had their share of handsome men and beautiful women during the six seasons the show has aired. But "Dancing With The Stars" has never been so hot and sexy before anyone even took the stage.

ABC announced its new line-up for this season's "Dancing With The Stars" on Monday, August 25, and they went out of their way to get sexy. This year's cast includes singers Toni Braxton and Lance Bass, reality stars Brooke Burke and Kim Kardashian, soap opera legend Susan Lucci, and acting great Cloris Leachman. With a bow toward the Olympics, they have included gold medalists Misty May-Treanor and Maurcice Greene. For comic relief, they have included Jeffrey Ross, who has become known as "the meanest man in comedy." Cody Linley, "Hannah Montana" heartthrob, is there for the tweenies. Rocco DiSpirito is there for the food-lovers who want a good-looking cook to prepare their food -- and dance around the kitchen. And the show has its now obligatory football player, Warren Sapp.

Oh, and then there's handsome Ted McGinley, a relatively unknown but famous (recognizable to millions) actor who played on "Happy Days" and "Married With Children."As for the dancers, Bass is paired up with Lacey Schwimmer, the hot little sister of Benji Schwimmer, who won "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2006. Lacey Schwimmer herself made it to the Top Four last season.
