She made her name as an innocent teenager - but Brooke Shields' latest outing could hardly be more adult.The toned 43-year-old wears rubber stockings and a basque and cavorts with a young man Madonna-style for a black-and-white photoshoot for an Australian magazine.It's a long way from the Blue Lagoon. In that film, shot 30 years ago, she discovered her sexuality - here she's flaunting it.

In one photo she lies in her underwear beside model Chris Fawcett, while another sees the two locked in a passionate embrace.There may be a hint of the airbrush about her thin-looking face and heavy eyeliner has been employed, but Shields has retained the looks which made her a star.It was back in 1978 that she won the controversial role of teenage prostitute Violet in the film Pretty Baby. Then at 14 in 1980 she played innocent teenager Emmeline in the coming-of-age desert island film Blue Lagoon.

It's fair to say none of the films she starred in subsequently had quite the same effect, but most recently she has been successful in American TV shows.She made 93 episodes of Suddenly Susan between 1996 and 2000 and has clocked up 20 so far with Lipstick Jungle.In between, she has found time to appear in That 70s Show, Nip/Tuck and Hannah Montana, as Miley Cyrus's mother.She also famously starred in an iconic Calvin Klein advert - uttering the words: 'Want to know what gets between me and my Calvins? Neil Lane Engagement Ring Chosen For 'The Bachelor' Finale

The Bachelor's Jason Mesnick has just one rose left and two potential wives to choose between, yet while one major decision remains to be made, another has already been set in stone.On the season finale of the ABC reality show, taking place on Monday, March 2, Mesnick will propose with a hand-crafted Neil Lane marquise-cut diamond and platinum ring encrusted with 170 smaller diamonds. The diamonds add up to a total carat weight of 3.18, with the D-color, VS1-clarity center stone weighing in at 1.94 carats.

Mesnick chose the ring from three Neil Lane designs, each featuring a unique cut of diamonds, including oval and pear shapes.As is the show's tradition, Mesnick began courting 25 women on the season premiere episode, back in January. He has since narrowed the field down to two ladies: Molly, a 24-year-old department store buyer from Grand Rapids, Mich., and Melissa, a 25-year-old sales representative from Dallas.One of the lucky ladies will join the long list of brides who have worn Neil Lane engagement rings, including celebrities such as Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Hudson, Kate Hudson, Brooke Shields and Reese Witherspoon.

Lipstick Jungle Season 2 Starring Brooke Shields

The high-class comedy and drama of Lipstick Jungle return for the show's scintillating second season tonight on NBC. Following the lives of three powerful women in New York, the series comes back with “Chapter Eight: Pandora's Box.” Once again, viewers will be drawn to step into the classy shoes of characters Wendy Healy, Nico Reilly and Victory Ford.

“Chapter Eight: Pandora's Box” features Nico (Kim Raver) being overwhelmed by guilt because of her affair with Kirby (Robert Buckley). We last saw her facing the heart attack of her husband, Charles (Christopher Cousins), a harsh reality that she had to deal with. Strongly affected by her emotions, Nico thinks about coming clean and telling Charles about her betrayal. She is further haunted by her infidelity when Charles shows her a photograph that Kirby took of her during their romantic liaison. She later considers undertaking extreme measures just to save their marriage.

Meanwhile, Wendy (Brooke Shields) decides that it would be best to spend more time at home with her family. However, things don't go as planned when Wendy's mother, Joyce (Mary Tyler Moore), comes for a visit. On the other hand, fashion designer Victory (Lindsay Price) has been having trouble keeping her distance from her boyfriend, Joe (Andrew McCarthy). Trying to come to terms with his betrayal, she just can't seem to avoid him since he wants to win her back.

The ever so gorgeous Brooke Shields graces the cover of the October issue of Shape Magazine.Brooke Shields, 43, the mother of two, told Shape:‘I can’t believe I said I’d do this shoot when I haven’t been able to exercise for almost eight weeks.’Brooke underwent foot surgery in April and has not been able to hit the gym for a couple of months, but as you can see from the cover, the Lipstick Jungle star still has a rockin’ toned bod!

Brooke prepared herself for the surgery by losing some weight beforehand, since she knew she would be unable to exercise during her recovery. How did she do it? Spinning!“Spinning is the only way I ever lose weight,” she says. “It’s purely about keeping my heart rate up and burning calories.”Brooke has resumed filming Lipstick Jungle in New York, and commutes back and forth to L.A. which is where she, her hubby Chris Henchy, and her two daughters, Rowan and Grier, make their home.Doesn’t Brooke look incredible on the Shape cover? Lipstick Jungle Reviews!

What to say about "Lipstick Jungle" when the title alone says it all? Power babes duking it out in the big city (because, presumably, if they were rural power babes, lipstick wouldn't figure in so heavily). Me, I'm not so crazy about reducing an entire gender, particularly my own, to a cosmetic. And as for "jungle," well, there's only one power species in the jungle, and that's a cat, a metaphor that just doesn't seem terribly modern, does it?Granted, there wasn't much NBC could do, since "Lipstick Jungle" was adapted from a novel of the same name, written by Candace Bushnell, who created the newspaper column "Sex and the City," which became that HBO series we've all heard so much about. Why mess with a proven brand?

“Lipstick Jungle,” which stars Brooke Shields, Kim Raver and Lindsay Price as career women, debuts tonight — but will you be watching? And will “Lipstick Jungle” be different enough from “Cashmere Mafia” to matter? Or will both of these new women’s series cancel each other out?Well, because "Lipstick Jungle" is to "Sex and the City" what New Coke was to Coca-Cola -- a brand extension best forgotten. Whereas "Sex and the City" minted a genuine, shiny, new modern heroine -- the sexually active, sexually explicit but still romantic good girl -- "Lipstick Jungle" is content to play dress-up with a bunch of frayed-at-the-edges paper dolls. Here's Wendy Healy (Brooke Shields), the nicest movie executive you'll ever meet (she doesn't even swear), dutifully struggling to fill her roles as deal maker, mommy, wife and BFF. Needless to say, she's on the phone a lot.
